MarppleShop is a creator merchandise marketplace run by Marpple Corporation, whose footer gives an address in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, Korea. Creators open their own shop on the platform, list goods with their artwork, and fans buy from those shops; for most products, MarppleShop itself makes each item after the order comes in and ships it. The homepage tagline is "MAKE IT REAL," and the site runs in English, Korean and Japanese.
The creators on the platform are mostly Korean streamers, VTubers, webtoon artists, musicians and educators, and the homepage is organized around them: shop launches ("CREATOR OPEN"), themed collections, a real-time creator ranking, a "Popular Products TOP 100" list and a feed of what has just sold. For a creator whose fans are already in the Korean fan-goods scene, it works as both production partner and storefront.
How selling works
A creator applies through an "Apply as Creator" link and then gets a shop on MarppleShop with its own address, product list, fan letter board and reviews. The shop pages show that fans can write fan letters to a creator, leave reviews on products, and see how many people are watching a product or cheering for its creator. When a creator sells out, the shop shows the line "Support your favorite creator and stay tuned for new product launches!"
MarppleShop distinguishes two kinds of product. Items labeled "MarppleShop Production" are "products directly produced and shipped by MarppleShop," which is the print-on-demand side of the business. Other listings are creator-shipped or digital products; for those, the footer states that the company "acts solely as an intermediary for communication sales and is not a party to the actual transaction," and that "responsibility for order, delivery, and refund lies with each individual seller."
Beyond a standing shop, the homepage shows several sales formats a creator can use: pre-order sets (listed with a "(Pre-order)" tag), limited editions in a separate "Limited Edition Ranking" with a countdown such as "19 h left," online pop-up stores, and birthday or anniversary merch drops. Webtoon merch appears too, through WebtoonFriends online pop-up stores and a staff pick for Naver Webtoon goods.
The homepage also promotes a "Goods Partner" program with the label "Fee 0%," alongside a "CIME Beta Service" launch. The pages do not explain the terms of either program, and they publish no commission rate or payout schedule for creators.
What MarppleShop makes
The product range is built around fan goods. Examples on the homepage and product pages include:
- Apparel: Gildan Ultra Cotton 2000 Adult T-shirts, Printstar premium cotton and heavyweight long sleeve tees, BECANVAS 32s short-sleeve tees, zip-up hoodies and an oversized interlock zip-up hoodie
- Acrylics: acrylic stands, acrylic figures, acrylic keychains and custom clear acrylic key rings
- Paper goods: photo cards, bookmarks, stickers, A6 notepads and fabric posters
- Jewelry: a 4mm surgical steel engraved ring and crown rings
- Home and accessories: blankets, satin cushions, all-over-print canvas pouches, lunch pouches, caps and slippers
Product pages give real detail. The Gildan tee is listed as 100% cotton (90% cotton and 10% polyester in Sports Grey), made in Nicaragua, in sizes XS to 3XL with a standard unisex fit, and comes with a size chart in inches and washing instructions. The surgical steel ring is ion plated, made in China, sized in US ring sizes with a millimeter chart, and carries a warning that "size exchanges and refunds are not allowed with custom-made engraved products due to their nature." The acrylic figure is described as "translucent and clear."
Prices
Retail prices differ from shop to shop for the same base product: the Acrylic Figure M sells for $22.80 in one creator's shop and $48.06 in another's. Other examples in US dollars from the English site include the Gildan Ultra Cotton 2000 tee at $17.02, the engraved ring at $8.95, a vertical photo card at $4.06, an acrylic name tag at $3.17 and a single bookmark at $2.60. On the Korean site, one creator's shop lists t-shirts at 17,200 and 18,000 won, keychains at 4,300 and 4,400 won and a poster at 3,000 won. Payments on the Korean site run through KG Inicis, with a purchase safety service for cash payments.
Production and shipping
Every MarppleShop Production item is made to order. The product pages say "All the goods are newly manufactured in custom order and delivered," and each page shows the date manufacturing would start for an order placed today and the date by which the goods will ship, so buyers see the production window before they pay.
Shipping on these pages is by "Standard Courier(DHL)," with the delivery area listed as "Nationwide." After dispatch, "it can be received within 1-3 business days," though remote or mountainous areas and busy periods for the courier may take a little longer. The pages add that "the basic shipping fee is charged regardless of the payment amount, and additional fees may apply for remote areas." The product pages describe delivery within Korea only; they say nothing about shipping abroad.
Returns and support
Because goods are custom-made, "exchange/refund due to simple change of mind are not possible." For a defective product or a shipping error, buyers "can contact our customer service within 7 days via email, Individual Inquiry, or through our customer center for exchange or refund." The product pages link quality assurance guidelines and a quality warranty criteria page. MarppleShop also runs a reporting center "for creators, consumers, and copyright protection," where products that break its rules or infringe copyright or portrait rights can be reported.
The customer service center number is 1566-5496, open on weekdays from 10:00 to 18:00 and closed on weekends and public holidays, according to the Korean pages. Separate contact routes exist for product, shipping and operations questions, for creator partnerships and for collaborations, plus a 1:1 inquiry form and an FAQ.
Who it suits
MarppleShop suits creators whose audience is in Korea: streamers, VTubers, webtoon artists and musicians who want fan goods such as acrylic stands, photo cards, rings and tees made to order, with a shop page that doubles as a fan community through letters, reviews and rankings. Its wide range of acrylic and paper goods matches the fan-goods formats the homepage features most.
It fits less well a creator selling mainly to fans outside Korea, since the shipping terms shown are for domestic delivery, or a seller who wants published commission terms before applying. A creator considering the platform should apply through the creator program to get those terms.
