Shirtinator is the Austrian store of Shirtinator AG, a print-on-demand shop where anyone can put a photo, text or design on T-shirts, hoodies, polos, mugs, bags and a long list of gift items and order from a single piece. Its main audience is private customers, clubs and companies ordering printed products directly, and on top of that it runs a creator tool, a bulk and B2B service and white-label shops for businesses. The footer dates the company's copyright back to 2005, and the homepage shows a rating of 4.65 out of 5 from 1,159 reviews on ProvenExpert.

What a customer or creator gets

The heart of Shirtinator is its online designer, which the site calls the Creator. A customer uploads a photo or quote, adjusts size and position, adds text or more graphics, and can swap the product at any time, for example from a T-shirt to a hoodie, under "Produkt ändern". For people without an idea, the Creator and the Designs section offer templates and layouts for occasions such as birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, bachelor and bachelorette parties (JGA) and carnival, which can be edited by changing motifs, swapping text and adding pictures. The homepage also promotes a range of fonts and a library of motifs and clipart, many of which it says are only available at Shirtinator.

Ordering is deliberately simple. The company's 2026 comparison article says the configurator works without registration: upload a motif, choose the product and the quantity, and order. The site offers guest checkout next to account registration. For teams, a single design can be ordered in many sizes and quantities for women, men and children in one order, and a customer can share and save the design link to reorder later. The FAQ advises ordering early for larger quantities.

Beyond one-off orders, the site has a bulk-order and B2B area with sections for general customers, gastronomy, trades, schools and daycares, medical settings and clubs, and a link to open your own shop. The homepage advertises up to 40% volume discount and a key-account service for large customers, and the comparison article adds that terms improve further with larger order quantities.

White-label shops and what they are not

For companies that want their own branded storefront, the comparison article says Shirtinator offers white-label solutions with no minimum quantities and the company's own branding. It describes a white-label shop as an ordering portal that runs under a company's brand, where employees or customers order branded products while the print-on-demand provider handles printing and shipping, and suggests it for company clothing, merchandise and giveaways without a warehouse. The same article lists no subscription and no minimum order among Shirtinator's strengths.

It is equally clear about the limits. Among Shirtinator's restrictions it names "Kein automatisiertes Dropshipping via API" (no automated dropshipping via API) and a range narrower than pure B2B platforms. A seller who wants orders from an existing online store to flow in automatically will not get that here; Shirtinator's model is ordering through its own site and its own branded shops.

Printing, quality claims and materials

The homepage FAQ says the inks used in its digital direct printing are tested against recognized standards and points to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 2024. For washing, it recommends gentle detergent, turning the item inside out and avoiding high temperatures, and explains that wash fastness in the textile industry is often tested to ISO 105-C06 on a scale of 1 to 5. The site offers product variants in organic cotton and, citing the Umweltbundesamt, says organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides. For files, the FAQ recommends PNG and JPG, high resolution and no screenshots, and says the Creator warns when a graphic is too small.

Production and delivery

The homepage FAQ says Shirtinator produces and ships an order within 24 hours on working days, so it usually arrives in 2-3 working days, with an express option for faster delivery. The comparison article gives typical delivery as 3-5 working days and says "Shirtinator produziert in Prag", which it credits for short transport routes. Changes after production has started are usually not possible, and the FAQ asks customers who made a mistake to contact customer service immediately with the order number.

Support and extras

Help comes through a video guide for the Creator, a help and FAQ center, guides on shipping and printing, an order-status checker and the service team. The site also runs affiliate and influencer programs, and a newsletter that gives a €5 welcome voucher on orders of €30 or more.

Who it suits

Shirtinator suits individuals, clubs, schools and companies in Austria who want printed apparel or gifts in small or medium quantities without a minimum, with published prices, quick turnaround and a volume discount as orders grow. Companies wanting a branded ordering portal for staff or customers can use its white-label shops. Creators who want a supplier to fulfill orders automatically from their own online store should note the company's own statement that it offers no automated dropshipping via API.
