Alfredssons

Tap a star to rate

Alfredssons is a Swedish printing company in Bollebygd that runs print on demand and distribution for wall-art e-commerce brands, alongside a conventional print shop and a logistics business. Its print-on-demand page is addressed to start-ups in wall art and to established names ready to keep growing, and offers both printing and delivery. The company is Alfredsson Communication AB, and its Swedish homepage says its story begins in 1966 ("Vår berättelse börjar 1966"). Its customers are online retailers: the site says more than 90 international online retailers choose it.

What a wall-art brand gets

The offer is production plus fulfillment for a brand's own web shop. Alfredssons connects to the shop, prints each order as it comes in, and ships it to the customer. The page describes the flow: "Production takes place according to agreed lead times and delivery to recipients with several different choices of shipping methods." Through the webshop integration, "production is automated, tracking links are fed back to the shop and through a dashboard you get a transparent view of the production." The company says it has "invested heavily in technology with a 3PL solution and integration that ensures everything works properly with your e-commerce," and that it controls the whole order flow.

The print choices sit with the brand. The page names paper selection, format and embossing as examples of what a seller can offer customers instead of paying for stock ("Forget expensive inventory costs and instead think about what opportunities you want to give your customer"). High capacity is a recurring point: the company says its process ensures quality and its capacity lets it handle large volumes of orders.

Returns are part of the service. Alfredssons says its order-flow control "also applies to how we handle customer returns and complaints," and the Swedish page adds that this covers a customer who changes their mind ("om kunden skulle ångra sig"). The stated aim is that the brand can spend its time on other parts of the business.

Branding and packaging

Alfredssons makes a point of customizing each delivery. The page suggests "a particularly careful packaging, a thank you card or a discount code," and its list of reasons to choose the company adds "thank you cards, embossing, framing or certificates of authenticity for limited editions." Certificates of authenticity make it suitable for a brand selling numbered or limited art prints, and framing means the company can deliver a finished framed piece rather than only a print. It describes these as "the details that strengthen your brand."

Seven reasons, in the company's words

The print-on-demand page sets out "Seven reasons to choose Alfredssons":

  • Swedish quality: "We are a Nordic Swan Ecolabelled printing company with high ambitions in quality and sustainability. More than 90 international online retailers choose us."
  • Global delivery: "We deliver daily to the whole world and cooperate with all leading shipping companies." The company says it chooses optimal shipping and delivery options for checkout, and that "Our size allows us to negotiate better prices for your e-commerce business."
  • Branding and customizations, as above.
  • A dedicated production team: "The same production team always handles your orders, ensuring consistently high quality."
  • Personalized customer service: "We're just a phone call away when you need to clarify something or if your customer has questions about their order."
  • Integration and logistics: automated production, tracking links back to the shop, and a production dashboard.
  • Wholesale delivery to retailers: after many wholesale deliveries around the world, the company says it knows what packing, marking, labeling, customs documents and distribution require.

The wholesale point matters for a brand that sells through shops as well as online. The same producer that fulfills single web orders can pack and label bulk deliveries to stores and prepare the customs paperwork.

Scale

The site puts numbers on its size. It lists more than 243,000 deliveries per year, 87 countries it ships to, 5.9 million square meters of print per year and 220 e-commerce integrations. The Swedish homepage also gives turnover for 2025 as 93 mkr ("Omsättning 2025"), and labels the integration count "Integrationer e-handlare" (integrations, e-retailers). The same page frames the whole offer as "Print on demand och logistik för e-handel" (print on demand and logistics for e-commerce), and the English page closes on the promise of "Print on demand with high quality, on time and with smooth communication."

The wider company

Print on demand is one of three business lines. The Swedish homepage describes a print shop ("Tryckeri") for marketing material, ADR and variable-data printing, "always with high quality and fast, personal service," and a logistics arm: "Smart logistik är en central del av vår verksamhet. Vi erbjuder lagerhållning, distribution och 3PL" (smart logistics is a central part of our business; we offer warehousing, distribution and 3PL). The About section sums it up as "Print on demand and print production, for large and small clients," working "with modern technology and great possibilities for customized solutions." The site runs in Swedish and English and has pages on sustainability, cases and careers.

Getting started and contact

There is no self-serve sign-up. A brand fills in a partner form ("Fill out our form and we will get in touch to tell you more") or contacts the company directly at customercare@alfredssons.com or +46 (0) 33-29 00 90. The address is Rinnavägen 17, 517 33 Bollebygd, Sweden. Lead times are agreed with the company rather than published.

Who it suits

Alfredssons suits wall-art brands that sell from their own web shop and want a single printer to handle production, branded packaging, delivery and returns, from a start-up stage through to high volumes. The certificate-of-authenticity and framing options fit galleries and artists selling limited editions, and the wholesale service fits brands that also supply retailers. The Nordic Swan Ecolabel, as the company presents it, is a selling point for brands that market their prints on sustainability.

It is not an app a hobby seller installs in a few minutes: onboarding goes through the company, and there is no public price list. For an established or growing wall-art brand looking for a production and logistics partner, it is a serious option.
