Artovo is a UK print-on-demand company that prints wall art, cushions, homeware, kitchenware and accessories for artists and designers and ships them unbranded to the seller's customers. Its homepage headline is "UK Print On Demand Wall Art & Gifts Made Simple," and it says it handles "everything from manufacturing to printing and fulfilling orders, all from our UK facility." Its subheading promises to "Print and ship high-quality Canvas, Wall Art & Photo Gifts," so photographers are as much the audience as painters. A seller connects a Shopify store through the Artovo app or places orders online, and Artovo prints, packs and ships each order.
How it works
The homepage sets out four steps. "You Design": the seller does "what you do best and leave the rest to Artovo." "Sell Your Work": "Order directly or integrate with Artovo." "We Print": "Printed in the UK with a fast & reliable turnaround." "We Deliver": "Shipped directly to your customer."
There are two ways to send orders. The Shopify route uses the Artovo Shopify App: "Simply connect your Shopify store with the Artovo App or place your orders online as you receive them." The app is promoted with "1 click Shopify integration" and the line "Quickly and simply add your designs and start selling today." Sellers on other channels can place each order through Artovo's online shop by hand as it comes in. One customer review also mentions "Easy to use template software."
The financial side is described as no risk. The page says: "There's no need to worry about stock, storage, or delivery logistics. You only pay when you make a sale, allowing you to set your own prices and margins." The app section lists "No Risk", "No Hidden Fees" and "No MOQ" (no minimum order quantity), along with "Made for the UK, in the UK." Artovo also stresses that sellers keep "complete control over your business" on price and margin, and pitches the service to new sellers as a way to "start making money without any upfront investment or risk."
Fulfillment is white-label: "With our white label service, your customers will receive products unbranded." Artovo takes care of the entire fulfillment process, from printing to packaging and shipping, so the seller can, in the site's words, "focus on growing your brand."
The product range
Wall art is the lead category, described as "High-quality print on demand fine art prints and hand mad stretched Canvases." The range is split into three families, each unframed or framed:
- Canvas: canvas prints and framed canvas
- Fine art prints: fine art prints and framed fine art prints
- Poster prints: semi gloss poster prints and framed poster prints
Cushions are the second family, and Artovo says it is "proud of our range of beautiful, luxurious print on demand" cushions. The menu lists canvas cushions, linen cushions, artist velour cushions and outdoor garden cushions. One reviewer, an artist who prints fluid art, singles out a "faux suede cushion" as "truly beautiful" and says the colors matched the original artwork exactly.
The rest of the catalog turns the same artwork into gifts and household goods:
- Homeware: blankets and towels
- Kitchenware: aprons, chopping boards, coasters, mugs, placemats and tea towels
- Accessories: bags, cards, face masks and hot water bottles
The company describes itself as specializing "in creating gallery-quality wall art, homeware, and kitchenware, all meticulously printed and fulfilled in the UK," and says its printing technology ensures every product meets its quality standards. A sizing guide is linked from the site.
Materials and sustainability claims
Artovo makes specific material claims about itself. It says: "From our 100% renewable FSC approved wood to our HP Latex waterbased inks, we always strive to use the most sustainable and environmentally friendly materials we can." It also announces that "with every order, we will plant a tree with Ecologi," with a link to its forest. For a seller who markets on sustainability, these are the company's own statements to point to.
Shipping and store currencies
Orders ship from the UK facility directly to the seller's customer. The site's region selector covers a long list of countries and currencies, from the United Kingdom in GBP and the United States in USD to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and many others, so buyers on Artovo's own store see local currencies. Delivery details and the refund policy have their own pages, linked from the footer along with FAQs and terms of service.
Seller support and content
Artovo publishes a blog for sellers. Recent posts include "How To Use Email Marketing For Your Business" and "How To Drive Traffic To Your Store," which covers organic social media, SEO, selling on marketplaces like Etsy and eBay, email marketing and paid ads, and "How to Sell Your Artwork on Etsy: An Artists Guide." A newsletter promises "industry news, tips on growing your business and special offers." The company is on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, and its store runs on Shopify.
What customers say
The homepage quotes three reviews. Paola De Giovanni calls Artovo "My go-to print on demand company" and thanks it for "the speedy delivery." Gayle Murdoch says she will use Artovo again "as my company of choice" and writes that "The communication was great, the postage was prompt and the finished product was awesome and flawless." Shebby Shebs describes a "Brilliant company who listen to their customers and are willing to make changes to provide a better service," with "Excellent delivery service and turn around order time" and "Customer Service agents are efficient and provide good communication."
Who it suits
Artovo suits UK artists, photographers and designers who want their work on canvas, fine art paper, posters and cushions, plus gifts like mugs, tea towels and hot water bottles, printed and shipped from a UK facility under their own brand. Shopify sellers get a one-click app; everyone else can order online per sale.
It is focused on wall art, soft furnishings and kitchen goods rather than apparel, and the only integration the site names is Shopify. For a UK seller who wants one supplier for art prints and coordinating homeware with no minimums, it is a practical choice.
