Beyondprint is a photo print maker in Keuruu, Central Finland, that turns uploaded images into wall art on acrylic, glass, metal, wood, framed canvas and paper, and ships across the EU. Most of its site is a consumer photo shop, but a partner program and a blind-ship option make it a production partner for photographers and sellers who want prints made and sent to their own customers. The FAQ says "All prints are made by us – no third parties are involved," and the partner page puts it more plainly: "No middle men involved."

What the company makes

The product range is built around specialty materials rather than a merchandise catalog. The shop lists acrylic prints, glass prints, gallery frames, wood prints, metal prints, matt poster prints, luster prints, fine art prints and wall stickers. The shop categories also include customizable prints, poster hanger prints, kids posters and hanging accessories, and the company sells its own designs as the Beyond-collection next to the made-to-order work.

The FAQ gives practical guidance on which material to choose. For photos that will hang outdoors or in a damp room, it recommends metal or glass, because both withstand heat and moisture. Apart from the paper and wood prints, every product can be cleaned with a damp microfiber cloth. Where color accuracy is the priority, it points buyers to the Fine Art or Luster papers, which it says "can reproduce the most demanding colours with high accuracy." For the other materials it suggests placing a small test order first and then ordering the large size once the result looks right.

Custom sizes are offered on request. The FAQ asks buyers to send an inquiry, and the company confirms the options and the price; a customer unsure of the size can send the file and get a recommendation.

Color management and file preparation

Color management is the most detailed part of the site, which is useful for photographers who sell prints. The FAQ says all products are custom color profiled, and it publishes printer ICC profiles for soft proofing: Metal, Glass, Wood, Acrylic, Galleryframe, Fine Art, ProLuster and Premium Matt Poster Paper. It explains that paper prints use RGB profiles and the other products use CMYK, so it recommends Photoshop, which handles both, over Lightroom, which does not support CMYK profiling. The profiles are for simulation only and should not be embedded; the file itself should stay in sRGB or Adobe RGB 1998.

The file guidelines are specific. Accepted formats are JPG, PDF, TIFF and PNG, and one uploaded image can be up to 120 MB. Larger files can be ordered without upload and sent separately through Dropbox or WeTransfer. The FAQ gives 300 DPI as the ideal resolution and says resolution can fall as prints get larger, since big prints are seen from further away; it advises against upscaling to hit 300 DPI. A bleed of 2 to 3 mm is optional for paper prints, and a 50x50 cm image is printed at 50.2 x 50.2 cm and trimmed. Every file is checked by hand before printing, and the company offers to check a customer's files on request. The FAQ also advises lowering monitor brightness to about 50% when editing, because backlit screens make prints look darker than expected.

How a seller works with it

Beyondprint does not publish an app, a sales-channel integration or an API. Seller work runs through direct contact. The partner page speaks to anyone who needs prints "done regularly" or who sells photo products and "need[s] a manufacturer," and lists what partners get: volume discounts on all orders, drop shipping straight to the partner's customer, custom sizes, a flexible service because there are no middlemen, and a "100% satisfaction guarantee for all orders." The FAQ answers the photographer's question directly: the company is "able to ship directly (blind ship) to your customers, if needed," and invites anyone with regular needs to get in touch for business pricing. For volume orders it asks for a quote request.

Orders can also be placed by email rather than through the web shop. Files go by cloud link or attachment (Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive are the examples given, or WeTransfer for large files), and email orders can be paid by bank transfer, PayPal or Wise. That route suits a seller forwarding customer orders by hand.

Production and shipping times

The FAQ says production time depends on the material and size, but that "most orders are ready for shipping within 5-7 working days from the order date." Standard shipping takes 3 to 8 working days depending on destination, according to the FAQ, while the general terms say standard delivery within the EU takes 3 to 7 working days and that the company cannot guarantee exact delivery times. Expedited shipping by UPS is possible for urgent orders, but only if the customer contacts the company in advance; checkout offers standard shipping only. The terms give the buyer the right to cancel the contract if delivery takes longer than 30 days with no other lead time agreed, and they rule out cancellation once an order is placed, because production starts right away.

Pricing, terms and guarantee

The shop's prices include Finnish VAT of 24%, according to the terms, with the delivery fee shown at checkout. No wholesale price list is published; business and volume pricing come by quote. The satisfaction guarantee is spelled out in the FAQ: a customer unhappy with an order in any way should get in touch within 14 days, and the company will remedy it as quickly as possible. Items damaged in transit must be reported in writing with photographs of the packaging, label and item, and the terms say the company will then replace or refund the order at no cost, at the buyer's choice. The terms also make the customer responsible for making sure uploaded images do not infringe anyone's copyright, and say uploaded files are used only to make the order and stay the customer's property.

The shop periodically runs discounts announced by newsletter and on social media. Gift cards are sold from €20 to €200.

Support

The contact page gives a phone number, an email address and the Keuruu street address. The shop runs in two storefronts, Finnish and EU, and the site is written in English for the EU store.

Who it suits

Beyondprint fits photographers and artists who sell to customers in the EU and want premium wall art materials, careful color management and a maker that will blind-ship under their name. The published ICC profiles and detailed file guidance are unusual and make soft proofing on each material possible before a customer ever orders. A photographer with repeat print needs can negotiate business pricing and custom sizes directly.

It does not suit a seller who wants orders to flow automatically from a web store, since the pages show no integrations, or anyone who needs published wholesale prices before getting in touch. Its offer is also limited to wall art and photo products; there is no apparel, drinkware or other merchandise.
