What Vivyx Printing is

Vivyx Printing, LLC is an online art printing store at 5446 E. Washington St. in Phoenix, Arizona. Its homepage describes the business as a "one-stop destination for high-quality, affordable wall art solutions in the United States", established in 2009 and serving B2B clients "for over fourteen years". The range is wall art first: posters, photo and art prints, canvas, metal and acrylic prints, wallpaper and tapestry, with a second line of signs and banners. For a print-on-demand seller, three words on the homepage carry most of the weight: no minimums, private labeling and drop shipping. Vivyx sells to the public through its own storefront, and it opens the same catalog to resellers through a private label program that ships orders straight to the seller's customer on a neutral "PRINT CENTER" label.

The company's own pitch rests on four claims, all in its voice rather than ours: competitive pricing backed by a price match guarantee, a quality control process, customization options, and a support team that handles questions from order to delivery.

The catalog

The product menu is organized by what goes on a wall, and most lines come in stages of finishing.

  • Economy Posters. Offered as "Just Print", mounted, or framed. This is the entry product, listed from $2.41.
  • Photo and Art Prints. The same three stages: just print, mounting, or framing. Listed from $2.8.
  • Canvas Prints. Rolled canvas, mounted, framed, or gallery wrap. Listed from $9.13.
  • Acoustic Panels. Marked "New" in the menu.
  • Floats and Wraps.
  • Specialty Prints. Acrylic prints and metal prints.
  • Wall Decor. Wallpaper and tapestry.
  • Splits and Clusters. Image splits and wall clusters, for one picture spread over several panels or a planned group of pieces.
  • Signs and Banners. Vinyl banners, foamcore signs, coroplast signs, window graphics, backlit films, adhesive banners and paper banners.
  • Bulk Prints. A separate entry for volume orders.

The three bestsellers on the homepage show where the prices start. Every one is a "from" figure ("onwards", in the site's wording), so the price climbs with size, paper and finishing. The same homepage shows a 4.5 overall satisfaction rating. A footer link leads to an "Instant Price Quote" tool, and a "Got Custom Requirements?" block invites buyers to send an enquiry for jobs outside the standard menu. The company also says it is "equipped to handle projects of any size" and offers custom solutions.

For a wall art seller, the useful point is that the finishing ladder sits with the supplier. A seller can list the same image as an unframed print, a mounted print, a framed print or a gallery-wrapped canvas without sourcing frames or mounting board separately and can also offer acoustic panels, backlit film and multi-panel splits from the same account.

How private label print on demand works

The private label page sets out the program in a few lines. The POD program "allows you to order for delivery directly to your customers, branded as you." With blind shipping enabled, shipping labels read as from "PRINT CENTER", without the Vivyx name. Sellers can design their own custom box insert, full color and 8.5" x 11", and it goes into their orders. The page states that the feature is "100% free! There is no charge to upload artwork, or have your custom box stuffer included."

Access runs through a membership. Current customers can take part once they have joined the ViVYX Plus Rewards Program, any wholesale program, or the Pro Artist Sellers Program. New customers are told that use of the program is free but that they need to join the ViVYX Plus Rewards Program, which is also free, to open the POD features.

The page frames it as the seller ordering on the Vivyx site for delivery to the seller's own customer, with the parcel carrying the seller's insert and a neutral label. That suits sellers who take orders themselves, from a portfolio site, a gallery or social media, and then place each one with the printer.

The three seller programs

The homepage presents three programs under "Supporting You at Every Step".

  • Vivyx Plus Customer Rewards. "Get Assured Extra Savings on Each Order." It is free to join and is also the key to the private label features.
  • Vivyx Pro Artist Program. "Price & Sell Your Wall Art, Your Way." It is aimed at artists who want to set their own prices on their work, and it is one of the memberships that qualify for private label shipping.
  • Private Label Print on Demand. "Brand Your Business with a Professional Touch." The blind-shipping program described above.

A wholesale program also qualifies an existing customer for private label, per the POD page.

Prices, delivery and guarantees

The prices Vivyx shows publicly are the storefront starting points above: Economy Poster from $2.41, Art Prints from $2.8 and Canvas Prints from $9.13. The homepage also carried a sitewide promotion of up to 20% off with a code, and a newsletter signup offering 15% off, both of which read as seasonal offers rather than fixed terms.

On delivery, the homepage says shipping is available in "Standard & Priority Delivery Options". Payments are described as secured with 256-bit SSL encryption, and the site states "Satisfaction Guaranteed On All Products".

The price match guarantee is the company's most specific commercial promise. In its words: "If you happen to find a better deal elsewhere for same product and quality, don't worry! Let us know, and we will match their offer." A seller comparing wall art suppliers can use that directly, provided the competing product is the same item at the same quality.

Support is reached through the contact details on every page: phone 800-691-3545 and email support@vivyxprinting.com. The site also links to a help center, introductory videos and the company's policy page.

What the company writes about printing

Vivyx runs a regular blog, and its recent posts show the formats it wants to sell. A piece on affordable poster printing lists what drives the price of a poster: size, paper stock, whether it is full color, quantity, finishing and speed. Its own example compares a 24×36 poster on premium stock with lamination and next-day shipping against a 12×18 on standard paper with a week's lead time, and makes the point that both can look good while the first simply costs more.

A guide to large poster printing covers sizes, materials and where large posters work, from restaurant walls and retail windows to event backdrops and home offices. A post on backlit film explains that it is a translucent material that lets light pass through the print, suited to stores, trade shows, restaurants and airports, and that outdoor displays may need a stronger film than indoor ones. A post on split canvas prints describes dividing one image into two, three, four or more panels hung with planned gaps between them, which ties back to the Splits and Clusters range.

Customer feedback

The private label page carries a customer review: "Timely service and professionally finished product! Love the option for custom size and we are very happy with the results! I ordered a large black and white photo print with a double mat and frame and it all turned out well!" It is a buyer's account of a custom-size framed print, the kind of finished product a seller would pass on to a client.

Who it suits

Vivyx suits artists, photographers and small wall art brands in the United States who want a wide finishing range from one supplier, starting prices they can see before signing up, no minimum order, and a free way to ship under their own name with a branded insert. The Pro Artist Program speaks directly to artists pricing their own work, and the signage range makes it useful to sellers who also supply shops, events and trade stands.

It suits sellers less well who need their storefront to pass orders to the printer automatically, because the private label page describes ordering for delivery to your customers, not a store connection, and the pages name no integration or API. Apparel, drinkware and other non-wall products are outside the catalog.
