What White Space is
White Space (וויט ספייס, operated by White Space Vision Ltd.) is an Israeli company that prints and frames photographs and artwork and turns them into personal gifts: hand-drawn illustrations made from a photo, star maps, framed pictures, art prints, greeting cards for the home and for businesses, and card games. Its website is in Hebrew and prices are in shekels. Alongside the consumer shop it runs a print-on-demand program for people who sell framed products to their own customers, with production in Israel and delivery across the country. The homepage speaks of tens of thousands of customers and businesses in Israel and points to more than 550 reviews on its Google business page.
The POD page puts the pitch in one line: "מינימום עבודה ומקסימום איכות" (minimum work and maximum quality). Sellers focus on creating; White Space takes the logistics.
What a seller gets
The POD program is built around framing. The page offers "מסגור תמונות במגוון גדלים ואפשרויות במחירים משתלמים" (picture framing in a range of sizes and options at good prices), and describes itself as a complete printing and framing solution. The seller does not need to hold a stock of frames, ink, paper or packaging. White Space prints, frames and packs each order when it comes in.
The page names two ways to use it:
- Ship to the customer. Sell personalized framed products anywhere in the country and save time while White Space prints and ships for you on demand.
- Ship to yourself. Make products for yourself, for people you care about, or for anyone who appreciates high-level design and premium quality.
Four points sum up the program on the page:
- Local Israeli production. The company says local production brings a significant price reduction, fast delivery times and varied shipping options.
- No minimum order. Products are made only when the seller's customer, or the seller, places an order, so there is no leftover stock.
- Time saved. Ordering comes down to a short order through the White Space website with a fixed discount code.
- Branding. Sellers can buy a branding package so products arrive carrying their brand.
The order flow, then, is the seller placing each order on the White Space site with the fixed discount code, and choosing whether it goes to the end customer or to themselves. The pages describe no store integration.
Joining the program
Entry is by application. A form on the POD page asks for a name, email and phone number, an optional ID or company number, and the applicant's field: illustration, photography, offices, or other. It also asks for the expected number of orders per month, in four bands that start at up to 10 and go up from there. The last question is about branding. The applicant either wants the stickers and cards that go into the package branded with their own identity, at an extra charge, or wants to order without branding. White Space then reviews the request.
A separate link for companies and organizations sits in the footer, next to the story of the company, a blog, and a library of phrases for card text.
Products and prices
The homepage lists three flagship products with starting prices:
- Illustration from a photo. A moment from a photo turned into a handmade illustration by a team of illustrators, from 269 shekels.
- Star map. The sky as it looked at a chosen moment, captured in a frame, from 215 shekels.
- Picture framing. Photos framed in a classic style, from 179 shekels.
The wider catalog covers greeting cards for home and business, art prints, card games and gift cards. The service menu adds an urgent order option and framing on request. The site also ran a promotion giving 35% off a second item, applied automatically at checkout.
On quality, the POD page says every print is produced on Epson printers and that the frames are made in Israel from pine wood only, in a range of sizes and options. The stated goal is that what a customer sees on screen comes out with the same sharpness and quality in print. White Space also states that its shipments include a warranty. The homepage says the company uses carefully chosen raw materials.
Shipping and support
Home delivery by courier costs 19 shekels, and shipping is free on orders over 349 shekels. The homepage describes a range of fast shipping options, including self-pickup. Orders are collected from the White Space offices at Yaakov Freiman 20, Rishon LeZion, entrance 7, floor 2. The footer links to pages on delivery times and shipping, and on returns and cancellations.
Customer service runs Sunday to Thursday between 10:00 and 16:00, by WhatsApp only, at 03-522-4559. On satisfaction, the homepage says complete satisfaction is its commitment and that the team is there "לכל שינוי והתאמה עד שתהיו מרוצים" (for every change and adjustment until you are satisfied).
Customer reviews on the homepage describe that in practice. One buyer received the package two days after approving the images for print. Another describes the illustration being changed several times at no cost after the buyer's partner did not like the first version. A third reports delivery on the same day as the order.
Environment
White Space ties its environmental claims to the on-demand model. In the company's words on the POD page, framing and printing happen only when a customer orders, so there is no leftover stock that would otherwise end up in landfill, and the company controls the whole process itself. It adds that for every 10 prints it plants a tree through third-party companies in Israel and abroad.
Who it suits
White Space suits photographers, illustrators, designers and small businesses in Israel who sell framed prints, illustrations or star maps to their own customers and want the printing, framing and delivery handled without a stock of frames or packaging. The monthly order bands on the application form show that it takes on both occasional sellers and steady volume. The paid branding package lets a seller put their own stickers and cards in the parcel.
It suits less well a seller who needs orders to flow in automatically from an online store, since the program is described as ordering through the White Space website with a discount code, or a seller whose customers are outside Israel, since the program is framed around delivery within the country. The catalog is also narrow outside framed wall art and cards.
