Brandsky
Tap a star to rate
Brandsky is a print-on-demand company in Hamburg, Germany, that embroiders and prints apparel, bags, drinkware, wall art and accessories for online sellers and ships each order under the seller's brand. Its homepage opens with "100% Made in Hamburg" and the line "Print on Demand. Ehrlich nachhaltig. Echt menschlich." (Print on demand. Honestly sustainable. Genuinely human.) The offer is aimed at shops on Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce or Brandsky's own storefront, Space, and at brands that want embroidery, neon DTF and a sustainability story they can pass on to their customers. Signing up is free, and the homepage promises a shop can be ready in 5 minutes with "0 €" in fixed costs and minimum quantities.
What a seller actually gets
The workflow on the homepage has three steps. The seller uploads a design or uses the personalization engine, connects a shop, and Brandsky handles the rest: "Produktion in Ø 2 Werktagen" (production in an average of 2 working days), plastic-free shipping with DHL GoGreen Plus, and automatically managed returns. Orders flow in automatically once the shop is connected, and tracking and status go back to the end customer automatically.
The catalog covers "Über 100 Textilien aus Bio Baumwolle" (over 100 textiles made from organic cotton), and the pricing section says there are over 200 articles in total, "von Bio-Shirts über Tote Bags bis zu Trinkflaschen, Lunchboxen und Metallschildern" (from organic shirts and tote bags to drinking bottles, lunch boxes and metal signs). Brandsky makes its own Made in Germany shirt, the BSK08, from organic cotton, and the homepage says more than 20 further articles are produced in Europe.
Named bestsellers show the range and the starting prices. The Jack & Jones PULSE Oversize tee (100% organic cotton, 250 g/m²) starts at €11.29, the Native Spirit NS305 (100% organic cotton, 180 g/m²) at €7.70, the Build Your Brand BY102 (240 g/m²) at €8.11 and the WATC Luxury Made in EU (270 g/m²) at €6.90. Outside apparel, a Hahnemühle FineArt print on PhotoRag 308 paper starts at €8.00, the BRIOX lunch box with a bamboo lid and 1 liter capacity at €8.79, a 30x40 aluminum metal print with wall mount at €21.50, and the enamel-look KUMBO mug (300 ml) at €4.07.
Decoration methods
Brandsky offers three main methods and an upgrade. Embroidery is "Die Premium-Veredelung" (the premium finish), with the design stitched into the textile in up to 15 colors, over 40 thread colors available and 3D puff possible; the site recommends it for caps, hoodies and polos. DTF (direct-to-film) is the all-rounder that works on almost any textile and color, including dark garments. DTG (direct-to-garment) suits breathable prints, transparencies and large motifs, and "Funktioniert nur auf 100% Baumwolle" (only works on 100% cotton). The Neon upgrade for DTF adds fluorescent inks that glow under UV light, which the homepage says is "exklusiv bei Brandsky" (exclusive to Brandsky). The help center also lists flex printing, digital printing and sublimation among its decoration guides.
Pricing
Brandsky charges per produced article: "Keine Setup-Gebühren, keine Abos, keine Mindestmengen. Du zahlst nur, was produziert wird." (No setup fees, no subscriptions, no minimums. You pay only for what is produced.) The price has two parts, the product and the decoration. The site's worked example: a Native Spirit NS305 organic tee at €7.70 plus a small DTF print under A3 at €4.50 gives a purchase price of €12.20, with a recommended retail price of €28.95 and a seller margin of €12.13. Designs up to 40 × 50 cm cost €1.50 more, and embroidery and DTG are each €6.00. Shipping comes on top, and the example prices exclude VAT. A price calculator on the homepage shows every combination of product, method and design size, and sellers can order samples with their own design using the code MUSTER10 for 10% off.
Integrations, personalization and the 3D editor
Four channels connect directly: Etsy, Shopify (an app), WooCommerce (a plugin) and Space, which Brandsky describes as its own shop that goes live in 5 minutes. The help center adds a TeeInBlue guide. The personalization engine lets an end customer type a name, date or text in the shop, then generates the print file and sends it to production automatically; the homepage says it can be built into any design and supports custom fonts. A 3D editor shows some products in real 3D with rotate, zoom and color change, uses the same print area as production, and exports the view as a mockup for the shop.
Branding, warehousing and returns
Branding options include an inside or outside neck print, woven labels sewn at the hem or sleeve, hangtags and package inserts such as thank-you cards, stickers and flyers. Shipments are white-label with the seller's own sender details. Brandsky also offers warehousing for bestsellers, returns or a seller's own stock, picked and shipped together with on-demand items.
Returns go to Brandsky, not the seller. Each parcel is scanned and matched to its order, the team checks and documents the item, and sellable goods go back into the seller's warehouse allocation, where they ship first on the next matching order before newly produced stock. The shop receives status, credit and stock updates automatically. The homepage says the process is 100% automated, runs through a white-label portal in the seller's name and usually completes in under 24 hours.
Shipping and sustainability claims
Every parcel ships with DHL GoGreen Plus, "100 % plastikfrei, weltweit mit Tracking" (100% plastic-free, worldwide with tracking). Brandsky's sustainability guide says GoGreen Plus uses sustainable aviation fuel and other renewable energy in the transport network rather than relying only on offsetting, is included at no extra charge, and is ISO 14064-2 compliant. According to the same guide, packaging is recycled cardboard with paper tape and paper padding and no poly bags, sized to the contents. The guide says the DTF inks are water-based and vegan, all embroidery uses Madeira PolyNeon Green thread made in Germany from recycled PET bottles, many textiles come from Portugal, and the product setup actively recommends organic cotton and recycled options. The homepage claims 83% less faulty production through production and monitoring systems.
Support and showroom
Support comes from the team in Hamburg by WhatsApp, email at info@brandsky.io, phone on (DE) 040 31108456 and Instagram, backed by a help center with guides on integrations, file preparation, color management, production times and quality assurance. The showroom at Cuxhavener Str. 386, 21149 Hamburg, is open Monday to Friday, 8 to 16, by appointment only, with sample products and a production tour.
Who it suits
Brandsky suits a seller who wants a German producer with transparent unit prices, organic textiles and embroidery as a core skill: a streetwear or merch brand on Shopify or Etsy that wants neck prints, woven labels and personalized products without holding stock, and that wants to tell customers about plastic-free packaging and GoGreen Plus shipping. The published prices and the calculator let a seller work out a margin before opening an account.
The site and help center are written in German, and prices are in euros, so a seller who does not read German will lean on translation. The homepage describes production as 100% made in Hamburg, so orders to customers far from Germany travel from there.
