Eco Merch is a UK print-on-demand company that prints only on sustainable products and sells its service to brands that want an eco-focused supply chain. The site's title is "Print on demand for sustainable brands," and the home page describes Eco Merch as "a printing factory that only prints on sustainable products in the most environmentally friendly way." The company, Eco Merch Ltd, lists its address at Thorn Business Park in Rotherwas, Hereford. Sellers design products on the site, connect a store, and Eco Merch prints each order with water-based inks, packs it in what it calls sustainable packaging and ships it under the seller's brand. It also runs a bulk printing service and says it has "been bulk printing with water based inks on sustainable fabrics since 2006."
What a seller gets
The home page explains the model in three steps. First, "Create your products": the seller picks from "our selection of retail ready sustainable products. Featuring 100% organic cotton, recycled polyester and recycled cotton." Second, "We print your orders": orders "enter our workflow directly from your ecommerce site" and are printed "with waterbased ink by our environmentally friendly print process." Third, "We package and ship": orders go out in sustainable packaging "directly to you or your customers under your brand."
For the storefront itself, the home page offers "Realistic mockups free to use on your webstore," made with the site's free design tool. Product pages open straight into that tool, with a design area, text and fill controls, and a thread panel for embroidery.
Products
The catalog is organized into unisex, men's, women's and kids' clothing (T-shirts, polos, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets and bottoms, plus baby bibs and baby bodysuits for kids), accessories (bags and headwear), garment finishing (labels and swing tags) and home and living (tea towels, aprons, cushion covers, yoga mats, mugs, and a "Fine Art, Poster & Giclée Printing" section). The products page lists 50 items, and its brand filter shows Stanley/Stella, Premier and AWDis.
The feature filters show the kind of certifications the catalog is sorted by: "100% organic cotton (GOTS)," "OCS organic or blended organic," "Vegan," "Recycled (GRS)" and "FairWear." Those labels apply to individual products as the catalog tags them.
The catalog lists prices including VAT, and the site can show them excluding VAT or switch between pounds, euros and dollars. Some examples from the products page and home page:

The Creator 2.0 product page gives the spec in detail: "Single Jersey, 100% Cotton - Organic Ring Spun Combed, Fabric washed," at 180 g/m², in 37 colors, with washing at 30° and no tumble drying. The page says the 2.0 update is "an improved fit, more suitable for the UK and US market yet still perfect for European brands." Other styles cover different fits and weights: the STTU959 Blaster 2.0 is an oversized unisex tee at £9.00, the STTM558 Shifts Dry is £11.58, the STTW036 Stella Chiller is £5.40 and the STSU820 Connector is £23.04. Size filters run from 2XS to 5XL for adults, and from 0 to 6 months up to 12 to 14 years for kids and babies. The AWDis JC201 Men's Recycled Cool T-shirt, a "Relaxed sports fit" shirt in 10 colors, is the recycled option on the first page of the catalog.
Print methods and extra charges
The products page offers four decoration methods as a filter: DTF printing, DTG printing, screen printing and embroidery. The home page states: "We use only 100% water-based inks for printing and plastic-free bobbins, backing and top threads for embroidery." For bulk work, it adds that the team is "Vastly experienced with water based inks including special effects."
Artwork preparation is sold as separate line items on the additional services page, all prices including VAT:
- DTG optimisation, £24.00
- DTF optimisation, £24.00
- Screen Print artwork separation, £42.00
- Embroidery Digitisation, £18.00, which the page says is added "for each new artwork you would like to be digitised"
These are charges for preparing a design for a given decoration method, listed separately from the garment prices.
Integrations
Orders reach Eco Merch through a Shopify app. The navigation lists Shopify under Integrations, and the newsroom has a post from 31 January 2025 titled "UPDATING YOUR ECO MERCH SHOPIFY APP," a step-by-step guide for existing users. The home page invites sellers to connect their store and start selling while Eco Merch handles the rest, and orders then flow into the print workflow from the seller's ecommerce site.
Branding and finishing
The home page lists "Garment relabeling, custom printed swing tags, custom packaging, customised packing slips" as its branding and finishing services, and the catalog has labels and swing tags as their own product categories. Drop shipping is described as packing all orders "in sustainable packaging" and shipping "directly to your customers under your brand," so the end customer sees the seller's name.
Shipping and the US
The site has pages for shipping methods, a return policy, order tracking and embroidery guidance. The most important shipping note is in the newsroom, dated 27 August 2025: "Due to the new tariff and shipping requirements imposed by the government of the USA we can no longer take orders directly through our website for customers based in and/or shipping to the US." Sellers whose customers are in the United States should read that post before building a store around Eco Merch.
Bulk printing and affiliates
Alongside print on demand, Eco Merch offers bulk printing for larger runs, building on its experience since 2006. It also runs an affiliate program: "Become an Eco Merch affiliate. Join our referral scheme to earn commission recommending our certified sustainable service."
Who it suits
Eco Merch suits sellers whose brand is built on sustainability and who want every garment to be organic or recycled and every print to use water-based ink. The published catalog prices, the choice of DTG, DTF, screen printing and embroidery, and the Shopify app make it straightforward to set up a small eco apparel line with the seller's own labels and swing tags. Sellers who mainly ship to the US are the ones the August 2025 notice rules out for direct orders.
