What LA Sublimation is

LA Sublimation is a cut and sew apparel manufacturer in Huntington Beach, California, that prints designs onto fabric panels by dye sublimation and DTF, then cuts, sews and ships the finished garments itself. It runs both bulk manufacturing and on-demand fulfillment, so a brand can sell all-over-print apparel without holding stock. The homepage calls it a "Cut & Sew Sublimation Platform" and promises "Cut & Sew, Sublimation and DTF apparel manufacturing, no minimums, all made in America."

The company's story page says twin brothers Zach and Chandler Connor started printing shirts in garages in South Orange County, launched Modern Movement in 2010, and officially founded LA Sublimation in 2013. In 2023 longtime sewing factory owner Israel Ajiataz joined forces with the company, "bringing all production under one roof", and in 2025 a technology firm partnered with it to combine manufacturing, software and automation. The homepage lists "13+ Years Building", "1M+ Units Produced", "100% Made in the USA", "250+ Customizable Styles" and "60k Home-Goods Units Of Monthly Capacity", and shows a 4.9 rating "Based on 100,000+ satisfied customers". The story page also says the brothers "helped pioneer the cut & sew on-demand model".

How it works for brands and creators

The FAQ describes the manufacturing: "We're a fully vertical cut & sew manufacturer. Your designs are printed directly onto individual fabric panels using sublimation and DTF technology, then assembled, trimmed, and finished entirely in-house. No outsourcing, no pre-sewn blanks." Design, printing, sewing and fulfillment all happen "under one roof at our Los Angeles facility", in the FAQ's words. The story page describes the dye sublimation as "Full-color, edge-to-edge printing that becomes part of the fabric", aimed at sportswear, uniforms and lifestyle apparel, with custom patterns and technical construction handled by the in-house sewing team.

The Brands & Creators page lists what the service includes: fast U.S. production, on-demand or bulk flexibility, e-commerce store setup for Shopify and WooCommerce, sublimation, DTF and cut and sew production, and warehousing, dropshipping and fulfillment. Store connection runs through Shopify: "Connect your store through our Shopify integration. Once linked, customer orders sync automatically into our system and move straight into production, no manual entry required." The company sets the store up for you ("Get in touch, a team member will set up your store for you"), you can track orders in real time, and the homepage announces an "LA Sublimation Shopify app, coming soon." Products are explored and customized in a Client Portal.

Getting started goes through a form. You submit your details, and the company promises a reply within 24 hours, then a conversation about "your product, volume, and timeline" and "a same-week quote." The form asks for merch type (Brands & Creators, Music & Events, Youth Athletics, Corporate Merch, Print Shops & Resellers), whether you want a new store or an integration with an existing one, your current monthly order volume and your timeline. The page also mentions discounted rates on high-volume orders, seasonal promotions and early-bird bundles.

Products

The product line is cut and sew sublimation and DTF-compatible apparel "across activewear, streetwear, fashion, and branded merchandise categories." The 2026 product catalog lists "213 Products · Made in USA", the creators section speaks of "250+ premium cut and sew products, all made on demand in the USA", and the homepage offers "200+ premade apparel designs to choose from" for all-over prints. The earnings calculator on the Brands & Creators page names example products: All Over Printed T-shirt, All Over Printed Hoodie, Unisex Fleece Joggers, Bomber Jacket with liner and Bathing Suits for men and women.

The company also serves specific markets. Youth Athletics gets custom team gear for leagues and clubs "with no minimums". Music & Events covers merch for tours, events and festivals, including "Tour-Ready Fulfillment" shipped directly to tour stops. Corporate Merch covers branded merch for teams, events and onboarding kits. A case study describes Lunafide, a music festival apparel brand founded in 2017 that partnered with LA Sublimation to scale production.

Custom Design Studio

For brands without artwork, the Custom Design Studio delivers "Two unique concepts designed around your brand, delivered in 1–3 days, with a complete physical sample before a single unit is produced." The page stresses "No AI. No templates. A dedicated human designer," with unlimited revisions. The process runs from a design guide that takes about 5 minutes, to a designer assigned within 24 hours, to first concepts in 1-3 business days, then revisions, a physical sample and production. The consultation is free and carries no commitment.

DTF transfers

The DTF service works "on virtually any fabric type and color", including dark garments and blends, and comes in three options:

  • Upload Gang Sheet: upload a pre-built gang sheet, printed exactly as submitted and shipped to you as a ready-to-press transfer. Max 23″ × 105″, PNG, PDF, AI or EPS, "From $10".
  • Build a gang sheet: upload individual designs and an AI builder arranges them into an optimized sheet; free to build, any quantity.
  • Retail Ready Apparel, factory direct: finished garments with "5 Core Styles", private label and a "5-7 Day Turnaround", priced by quote.

The artwork rules are strict: 300dpi minimum resolution, transparent background, artwork trimmed tight, file size equal to print size, CMYK color space, and sheets in 3-inch length increments up to 105 inches. The company states it will not refund or reprint improperly submitted files. The transfers are hot peel, with a recommended press setting of 300-330°F for 10-15 seconds at medium to high pressure.

Support

The contact page promises a reply within 24 hours, and the process is brief, review, then a specialist follow-up. A sales email address is listed for agencies.

Who it suits

LA Sublimation suits brands, creators, music acts and teams that want all-over-print, cut and sew apparel made in the USA, with no minimums, Shopify order sync set up by the company, and a path from on-demand to bulk production in the same factory. The design studio helps brands that need artwork and a physical sample first, and the DTF gang sheets serve print shops that press their own garments. The limits are that product pricing comes by quote rather than a public price list, Shopify is the named store connection while the app is still marked coming soon, and the pages describe production only in California.
