What PrintSage is
PrintSage is the print-on-demand brand of ShipSage, Inc., a US 3PL and fulfillment company. ShipSage says it started as a warehousing and fulfillment business running 2-day shipping for ecommerce brands "across 6 US locations", then added in-house DTF and DTG printing to those same warehouses, on the same order management system (OMS) and warehouse management system (WMS). PrintSage is the storefront for that capability: in the company's words, "our dedicated POD brand, built on ShipSage infrastructure", where sellers, creators and shoppers design, order and sell custom products while ShipSage prints and ships behind the scenes. The focus is apparel for sellers who want production and delivery inside the US. ShipSage's homepage sums up its origin as "Started in a garage. Built for scale."
The headline figures on the print-on-demand page are "48 Hrs." POD production, 6 US fulfillment centers, 99% shipping accuracy, "2-day" nationwide delivery and "100+" marketplaces integrated.
What a seller gets
The print-on-demand page lays out four ways to work with the company. DTC sellers connect a store, upload or generate designs, and PrintSage prints and ships every order; the Shopify app makes setup "a one-click job". Consumers can order one piece for themselves on PrintSage.com with no account setup and no minimum. Creators and communities get an affiliate program to turn an audience into merch sales without holding inventory. Mid to large brands that already move volume can send their own blank stock, pre-position it across the 6 US warehouses, and run print, pick, pack, ship and reporting in one system.
For a Shopify seller the flow is spelled out in the PrintSage launch post: install the app from the Shopify App Store, browse the catalog and pick blanks, upload design files and preview them on every color variant, set a retail price and see the margin per variant, publish to the store, and let every customer order trigger fulfillment through ShipSage's warehouse network. Tracking is pushed back to the storefront automatically. Refunds and reprints go through ShipSage's support team directly, the post says.
The platform page lists what sits around that flow: an AI sample mockup generator, AI Studio for creating designs and lifestyle mockups from a text prompt, real-time production tracking with priority flags, inventory management across all 6 warehouses, multi-marketplace order routing, and branded packaging. The FAQ confirms custom packing slips, branded boxes and mailers, marketing inserts and kitting for multi-product orders.
Products and prices
Apparel is the focus. The FAQ lists t-shirts, long-sleeve tees, sweatshirts and hoodies "in a wide range of styles, colors and blanks", and says mugs, tote bags and accessories are also available. The print-on-demand page publishes starting prices for individual blanks:
- BELLA + CANVAS Jersey Tee 3001, from $8.15
- 5000 Gildan Heavy Cotton T-shirt, from $6.45
- 5000L Gildan Heavy Cotton Women's T-shirt, from $7.32

- Tultex Unisex Fine Jersey T-Shirt 202, from $6.97
- Hanes Unisex EcoSmart Crewneck Sweatshirt P160, from $11.42
The consumer section repeats that "Blank tees start as low as $2.50". The earlier launch post gives different starting points for some lines, such as women's cropped styles "starting from $6.60 base cost" and a 79000B kids tee from $5.64, so the current catalog price is the one to check. The page's earning calculator shows a "ShipSage Fulfillment Cost" of $5.49 and notes that the base cost covers the per-item production and printing fee, with shipping, taxes and platform fees not included.
The pricing model is per order. You set retail, and the company charges production plus fulfillment, "itemized through Stripe". There are no setup fees and no minimum order, the Shopify app is free to install, and the launch post says there are no monthly subscription fees to get started. ShipSage also says "The more you sell, the lower your per-unit cost" and offers custom quotes and a live demo.
Printing methods
The FAQ explains the two methods. DTF transfers ink onto film and heat-presses it onto the garment, working on cotton, polyester and blends; DTG prints ink directly into the fibers and suits 100% cotton with a softer feel. "ShipSage Print uses DTF by default for its versatility across fabrics", and the company asks sellers whose line needs DTG to talk to its team. A blog walkthrough of the DTG process shows the steps on the production floor: the order arrives through the OMS and is reviewed, the blank is heat-pressed, loaded onto an industrial Brother GTX Pro DTG printer, printed, cured under a protective sheet and given a final press before packing. The hands-on time in that video was "under 3 minutes", with the caveat that real queue time depends on daily volume.
Turnaround and shipping
The FAQ gives the timing: "Standard orders finish production within 2 business days." Pick, pack and dispatch happen the same day production finishes, "US ground shipping reaches 97% of US customers within 2 business days", and "Most US orders arrive on 4 to 6 business days door to door." The launch post describes the total as roughly 4 to 5 days from design upload to doorstep. Orders route to the warehouse closest to the customer, and ShipSage stresses that all facilities are US-based, "with no overseas production and no border handoff." The launch post puts ShipSage's US warehouse space at 681,000 square feet.
Sales channels
The print-on-demand page names Shopify, TikTok Shop, Etsy, Amazon, Walmart and Temu, and its FAQ adds Shein, all among "100+" connected marketplaces with automatic order sync, real-time inventory updates, tracking pushback and multi-store management, "No per-channel fee." The Shopify app is the direct route today. The launch post is more careful about the rest: from Shopify you can sync listings to Etsy, TikTok Shop and other channels through Shopify's own multi-channel tools, and "Broader native integrations are on the PrintSage roadmap." Sellers who plan to run POD mainly through a non-Shopify channel should read both statements together.
Support
ShipSage lists sales and dispatch contacts on every page, offers demos and custom quotes, and its homepage promises "A dedicated rep who actually knows your business." Existing ShipSage 3PL clients can keep stocked inventory in the same warehouses as their POD products, so a seller who grows can move to full 3PL service without changing partners.
Who it suits
PrintSage suits US-focused Shopify sellers who want domestic production, published blank prices from $2.50, no subscription and no minimum, and delivery in days rather than weeks. It also fits brands that already hold inventory with ShipSage or want to, since stocked goods and printed goods share one dashboard, and creators who prefer an affiliate route to merch. The limits are scope: the catalog is apparel-led, production and shipping are described only within the US, DTF is the default method, and native integrations beyond the Shopify app are still described as in progress on the launch post.
