TexPrint is a Swedish textile printer in Forserum, Småland, that runs a print-on-demand and dropshipping service from its own print shop. It prints garments on Kornit DTG machines, embroiders, adds the seller's branding and ships each order directly to the customer. The legal company is TextilPrint i Forserum AB, and the service is aimed at new clothing brands, musicians, artists, creators and Shopify store owners who want a Swedish production partner. Signing up is free and there is no minimum order.

What the company is

On the English print-on-demand page, TexPrint says it has "many years of experience in the DTG-printing industry dating as far back as 2009". The Swedish page puts its location more precisely: it is in Småland outside Jönköping, which it says places it strategically for logistics and lets it deliver to most of Sweden within one working day. A quote on that page describes the offer as "Högkvalitativt DTG-tryck med miljövänligt bläck" (high-quality DTG printing with eco-friendly ink), made "från vårt eget tryckeri i Småland" (from our own print shop in Småland).

TexPrint serves direct customers and business customers as well as print-on-demand sellers, and its site runs a shop with a product catalog, a newsroom and help pages. A testimonial on the homepage from Maria Stigsson of the brand Kladd By M says she has used the company for many years and values its knowledge, eye for products and service.

What a seller gets

The English page opens with the question "Are you thinking about starting a clothing brand? Maybe you're a musician or artist who want to sell merchandise completely effortless." It lists the benefits of the model as no starting cost, zero stock, no risk, selling within minutes and a big range of items, and it says the company works "both with startup projects aswell as established performers and brands."

The page describes the order flow in five steps:

  1. Integration. TexPrint integrates the seller's store with its production platform, after which the seller designs the clothes and uploads them to the store. "The easiest integration to create is with Shopify."
  2. New order. Incoming orders that concern TexPrint arrive in its production system automatically.
  3. Order picking. Orders are picked from stock, or blank products are ordered from suppliers when the seller uses garments not held in TexPrint's warehouse.
  4. Printing. Picked orders are printed on the Kornit printers and dried in an oven. Each finished garment is inspected and quality approved before dispatch.
  5. Dispatch. The product is folded and bagged at the packing station "ready to be shipped anywhere in the world!"

The Swedish version adds embroidery to that flow: "Vi trycker eller broderar" (we print or embroider), with each garment printed, checked and made ready for delivery. The homepage summarizes the service in two lines: "We automatically receive your orders, print them, add your brand, and drop ship them to your customers", and "We package all orders in sustainable packaging and ship directly to your customers under your brand."

The Swedish page asks who the service is for: someone who runs a Shopify store and wants to sell their own clothes, someone who wants to start a clothing brand without buying stock, an artist, creator or brand selling merch, or someone who wants a Swedish partner. Its invitation to try it reads "Skapa konto gratis och testa Print On Demand i praktiken" (create a free account and try print on demand in practice), with no start-up cost or commitment.

Why a Swedish partner, in its own words

The Swedish page makes the case for local production under the heading "Varför Texprint? En Svensk Print On Demand-partner" (why TexPrint, a Swedish print-on-demand partner). It says that when production is in Sweden everything becomes easier, and lists faster communication and support, simpler complaints and quality control, shorter lead times for campaigns and drops, and "Inga tull- eller leveransöverraskningar" (no customs or delivery surprises). It describes production in central Sweden with fast shipping across the country, and a section headed "Produktion i centrala Sverige" promises fast delivery "i hela landet och europa" (across the country and Europe), printed and shipped directly from Småland.

Catalog and prices

The catalog covers men's, women's and kids' clothing (T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, vests, trousers and shorts), accessories and homeware (bags, aprons, cushions and towels), hats (beanies, caps and bucket hats), and a workwear range with headwear, T-shirts, sweaters, jackets, pants, shoes and base layers. The Swedish site also lists posters on two papers, Ultrawhite Matte Heavy and Trisolv Semigloss, in portrait and landscape formats, and an organic products section.

Prices in the shop are shown in SEK including VAT. The homepage lists three examples:

  • Continental Clothing EP19 Unisex Oversize Heavy Organic T-Shirt, 100% organic combed cotton, 190 g/m2, SEK 193.00, in 4 colors
  • Continental Clothing EP01 Classic Unisex Organic T-shirt, 100% organic combed cotton, 155 g/m2, SEK 193.00, in 9 colors
  • Stanley/Stella STSU868 Roller, SEK 341.00, in 22 colors

The Swedish print-on-demand page says TexPrint works with a broad range of garments and textiles that suit new clothing brands and established ones, from T-shirts and hoodies to accessories and other merch. The homepage sums up the pricing model as "Gratis att använda" (free to use), explaining that sellers pay only for what they sell thanks to on-demand production, and "Inga minimibeställningar" (no minimum orders), "antingen en eller tusen" (whether one or a thousand).

Printing, embroidery and branding

DTG is the core method. The English page says its Kornit machines are there to give customers a high-quality direct-to-garment print on a wide variety of textiles, and that the company takes a lot of pride in the quality of its prints. The homepage states that after printing, a product "retains any OEKO-TEX and GOTS certifications", and that the company uses "only 100% water-based ink". In Swedish it puts it as "Vi behåller OEKO-TEX- och GOTS-certifieringar med 100 % vattenbaserat bläck." These are the company's own statements about its process.

Embroidery is listed as a separate service. The homepage also mentions heat press technology that can print over zips and other irregularities in a garment.

For branding, TexPrint lists "Transfer neck printing, woven neck label, hem label, swing tag, folding and unit packing, packing slip." Sellers also get a free Design & Mockup tool to create realistic mockups for their store, which the site says saves time and money on photo shoots.

Support and contact

TexPrint is at Fabriksgatan 1B, 571 78 Forserum, and can be reached by phone or by email at goddag@texprint.se. The help section includes shipping methods, return policies for direct, corporate and print-on-demand customers, an FAQ and how-to guides, and account holders get order tracking.

Who it suits

TexPrint suits a Swedish clothing brand, band or artist, especially one selling on Shopify, that wants blanks such as Continental's organic T-shirts or Stanley/Stella printed on Kornit DTG machines in Sweden, with neck labels, swing tags and embroidery available. Free sign-up, no minimum order and delivery to most of Sweden within one working day make it an easy supplier to test with.

It suits a seller less well who wants a wide choice of ready-made platform connections, since Shopify is the only integration the pages name, or who needs published delivery times and rates for shipping outside Sweden.
