The T-Shirt Bakery

The T-Shirt Bakery is a custom clothing printer on Quebec Road in Warrington that prints and embroiders T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and vests to order and ships across the UK. Its headline describes the business as "SUSTAINABLE PRINTING & EMBROIDERY. MADE TO ORDER FOR YOUR BUSINESS OR BRAND." The homepage pitch sums up the offer: "Whether you're ordering one T-shirt or thousands, our nationwide printing service combines premium DTG printing, embroidery, sustainable clothing and fast UK delivery." The footer adds, in the company's own words, that "The T-Shirt Bakery is a sustainable provider of print-on-demand fashion."

What a seller actually gets

The store works on two tracks by quantity. On the homepage the question "How many pieces do you need?" splits into "1-49 pieces (online)" and "50+ pieces (Get a Quote)". Small orders go through the online designer, where the customer uploads artwork onto a chosen garment and checks out; larger runs go to the team, and the site promises "over 50% off standard rates" for bulk buyers.

Decoration is split across three methods named in the menu: DTG (direct to garment), DTF (direct to film) and an embroidery service, which product pages describe as "ideal for logos and premium branding." Mugs are printed with dye sublimation.

The catalog is apparel first. The menu groups T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and vests for men, women and kids, an organic range, a PETA Vegan Approved selection, and personalized mugs. The homepage says there are "More than 100 products & colours ready to be freshly baked". Brands named in the menu include Stanley/Stella (the eco range), AWDis, Gildan and Bella + Canvas.

The product pages show how much detail a seller gets on each blank. The AWDis JustHoods College Hoodie (JH001), for example, is a 280 gsm midweight hoodie in 50 colors and sizes XS to 5XL, with a tear-out label that the page says makes it "perfect for rebranding", which matters for a brand that wants its own label in the garment. It is designed to match the JH030 sweatshirt and the AT001 and AT002 T-shirts in color, so a seller can build a coordinated range. Its specification lists the print method (DTG), the fabric mix, care instructions and the certifications WRAP, SMETA, OEKO-TEX, PETA and Vegan Approved.

Alongside blanks, the company sells its own printed designs: a Ready to Wear collection of printed hoodies, tees and sweaters, and "Bakery Originals", pre-designed pieces printed to order. The all-over print page adds that it offers thousands of patterns and invites customers to "buy in quantity, create your own design, or even make money selling our items", and the site runs an affiliate program under an "Earn With Us" heading.

Each product page also has a Creators Hub with placement guides and downloadable PSD templates, and the site links to separate artwork guidelines.

All-over print, organic blanks and extras

All-over print clothing is made by cut and sew: "Your design is printed onto the fabric then gets cut and hand-sewn into the finished product, ready for dispatch." The company says this avoids the "white creases or wrinkles, which are frequently near stitching", and that the fabric is "made from 100% recycled polyester." The collection runs to 25 styles, including hoodies, sweatshirts, crew neck and athletic T-shirts, tank tops, joggers, shorts, leggings, a rash guard and recycled bikini bottoms.

The organic range features "sustainable blanks made from certified organic cotton", sourced "from premium eco brands like Stanley/Stella and Jack & Jones", each "DTG-ready, print-tested, and embroidery-friendly." Styles include the Stanley/Stella Creator 2.0 T-shirt, the Changer 2.0 sweatshirt and the Cruiser 2.0 hoodie, in sizes S to 2XL for T-shirts and vests and up to 5XL for sweatshirts.

DTF transfers are sold as a product too. A single "DTF Transfer Sheet (55x100cm)" can carry one large design or several smaller ones, works on cotton, polyester and blends, and is aimed at "creators, small brands, and DIY print pros." Artwork must be a PNG with a transparent background, at least 150 dpi with 300 dpi recommended, and the page asks for at least 5 mm between designs. Bulk pricing applies from three sheets.

The custom mug is an 11oz ceramic mug (325 ml), dishwasher and microwave safe, with a full-wrap print area of 20 × 9 cm. Its specification lists "Food-safe certified materials, Lead-free, BPA-free", and the design guide warns that sublimation can show slight color variation against the digital artwork.

Delivery, changes and returns

The shipping section on product pages sets clear expectations. "Processing and shipping typically take 5-10 business days", with extra time at peak periods such as Christmas, and each product page shows an expected delivery window. Customers who need an order sooner can "Leave a note at the cart or checkout with your required delivery date, and we'll do our best to meet it!" Parcels go with "DPD, Amazon Delivery, and Royal Mail".

Because everything is made to order, "Once your order has been processed for printing, it cannot be changed or cancelled", and the company is "unable to accept returns or offer refunds unless there's an issue with your item." Damaged, defective or incorrect orders should be reported straight away "so we can make it right."

One customer review on the homepage describes 100 printed hoodies with logos front and back delivered 7 days after ordering, against a 9-day deadline.

Support and extras

The team is reachable on +44 (0) 1925 480 033, Monday to Friday from 10 am to 5.00 pm, and through a contact form. The site lists service-location pages for Warrington, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh and London. There is a free loyalty scheme, Bakery Rewards, and 10% off a first order for mailing-list subscribers. The footer states "All our employers are paid a living wage", and the company runs an Insights Hub with guides, editorials and podcasts.

Who it suits

The T-Shirt Bakery suits UK brands, clubs, businesses and creators who want a local printer that handles one piece or a bulk run, with DTG, DTF and embroidery under one roof. Sellers building a label get detailed blank specifications, color-matched ranges, tear-out labels on suitable garments, organic Stanley/Stella options and cut-and-sew all-over print in recycled polyester. Makers who press their own garments can buy DTF transfer sheets.

It suits less a seller who needs automatic order routing from a web store, because the site presents an online designer and a quote route rather than store connections, and orders cannot be changed once they go to print.
