Drukkerij Jubels is a printing house in Amsterdam that prints books, brochures, posters, business stationery and personalized products, using both digital and offset presses, and adds printing on demand, warehousing and fulfillment on top. Its homepage traces the company back to 1902 ("Met een trotse geschiedenis die teruggaat tot 1902", with a proud history going back to 1902) and headlines "120+ jaar ervaring" (120+ years of experience), adding that its printing knowledge has been passed down from generation to generation. It works for companies, publishers, brands and individual creators, and says it serves more than 100 sectors ("Totaal werken we voor 100+ branches").
What Jubels prints
The product side of the site is built around printed matter where finish matters. Jubels names cookbooks ("Laat je recepten stralen", let your recipes shine), professional photo books, posters, business cards, brochures and folders. A separate heading covers "Bijzondere boekproducties", described as "Maatwerk voor unieke, creatieve boekuitgaven" (custom work for unique, creative book editions). Two finishing services are listed alongside: "Bindwijzen" (binding methods), promoted as durable and stylish finishing, and "Embellishment", decoration that makes a piece extra special. The site's general promise is broad: it says it produces all of a customer's print with every modern technique and every paper type, in every thickness and format. It also stresses "100% Maatwerk", with customization from paper choice to finishing details.
The rest of the service menu reaches into business print and marketing. It lists "Bijzonder drukwerk" (special print, unique and personalized products), "Gepersonaliseerd drukwerk" (personalized print), "Groot formaat printen" (large-format printing), "Zakelijk drukwerk" (business print), direct mail, multichannel campaigns, brand identity design and brandbooks. For a seller, the relevant pieces are the print-on-demand service, the personalized print and the fulfillment operation described below.
Digital, offset and on-demand printing
Jubels runs both print technologies and explains when each fits: "kleinere oplagen snel digitaal; grotere met hogere kwaliteit offset" (smaller runs quickly in digital; larger ones in higher-quality offset). The footer names the Xerox premier partner network and PoDi among the company's links.
Printing on demand appears in the service menu as "Printing on demand", with the tagline "Verkoop op maat, na bestelling gedrukt" (sales made to measure, printed after ordering). The homepage adds a fast route for simpler work: print laid out online in templates ("Drukwerk online opmaken in templates") and printed on demand is "binnen 24 uur klaar" (ready within 24 hours). That turnaround belongs to the template-based online jobs, while custom book productions are handled with the company's specialists.
Orders can be placed around the clock. The "24/7 online bestelservice" (24/7 online ordering service) is summed up as "Altijd online, direct bestellen" (always online, order directly) and "Altijd toegankelijk voor snelle, gemakkelijke bestellingen" (always accessible for quick, easy orders). The homepage also promises "Snelle levering", saying an efficient production process and optimized logistics get print delivered on time, even on tight deadlines. For anything outside the templates, the site invites visitors to contact its specialists ("Onze specialisten staan voor je klaar!").
Fulfillment and warehousing
The fulfillment service is listed as "Fullfilment / warehousing" with the line "Opslag en verzending producten" (storage and shipping of products), and elsewhere as "Opslag en beheer van goederen met efficiënte distributieservice" (storage and management of goods with an efficient distribution service). The homepage puts the seller's case directly: "Wilt u uw drukwerk direct vanuit onze drukkerij naar de klant verzenden? Dat kan met print fulfilment!" (Do you want to ship your print directly from our printing house to the customer? You can, with print fulfillment!). Combined with printing on demand, this means a book or printed product can be produced after a sale and shipped by Jubels to the buyer.
One testimonial shows what a packed kit from Jubels can contain. A customer named Dora writes about the first "TSIAB box": "All items were safely packaged. It is a very professional service", listing an envelope with the returnable items, a DHL label and a description of the return process.
Cases and customer voices
The portfolio on the homepage names projects such as a school campaign for "De Papier & Karton" using personalized print and direct mail, instant photo sticker frames for Photoflyers, and "Instant Celebration", a service where customers design their own sticker frame for a party or event. Book and print projects named in the portfolio include the Fulla Planner, "Wapen van de redelijkheid", Sjef du Jardin and Zero Point.
Customer quotes cover books, magazines and reports. Mike of Blauwe Monsters writes "In elke situatie levert Jubels top kwaliteit." (In every situation Jubels delivers top quality) and "Wij bestellen nergens anders meer!" (We don't order anywhere else anymore). Mirjam of Albert Heijn says "Ik kan 100% op jullie rekenen!" (I can count on you 100%). Maurice of Trabocca, whose coffee book "In Pursuit Of Great Coffee" Jubels printed, writes "Everyone loves the new book!" and says he is already looking forward to printing the 2025 version. Koert of Stadsgoed thanks the team for a 25th-anniversary magazine, and Johannes of VOGON for the "PERQ jaarboek 2024" yearbook. Alba of INDITEX praises "the speed, the support throughout the process", and Natalie of Studio Gessen thanks Jubels "for getting these done so quickly."
Other clients point to the working relationship as much as the print. Bas of Space & Matter, writing about a set of booklets, says he found the collaboration very pleasant and valued Jubels' knowledge, expertise and above all its flexibility. Leslie of CBF thanks the team for the cards and a booklet marking 100 years of CBF/NDP, which she says was received enthusiastically. King Yen Lee of TCONCEPT calls the book "Treehouse" "waanzinnig goed" (insanely good), Kim of Merck says she is "echt mega blij" (really very happy) with her bound sets, and Elena of Risilience writes, "I will certainly order more from you in the future."
Sustainability
Under "Duurzaam drukwerk" (sustainable print), the company states: "Wij streven ernaar om onze impact op het milieu te minimaliseren door gebruik te maken van eco-vriendelijke materialen en processen" (we aim to minimize our environmental impact by using eco-friendly materials and processes).
Who it suits
Jubels suits authors, small publishers and brands who want a book or a printed product made with care in Amsterdam, especially projects where binding, paper and finishing matter: cookbooks, photo books, yearbooks, company books and magazines. The combination of printing on demand, template jobs ready within 24 hours and fulfillment from the printing house lets a seller skip holding stock. Its customer list, from Albert Heijn to independent studios, shows it takes both corporate and small jobs.
It is less of a fit for a seller who wants to compare costs before making contact, because the homepage publishes no prices.
