Print&Bind

Tap a star to rate

Print&Bind is an online print service that prints and binds everything from a single thesis to thousands of flyers in its own production. You choose a product, the price is calculated automatically, you upload your file and the company prints and ships it. Its site is in Dutch with an English version, it offers pick-up at its own location and at pick-up points in Amsterdam, and its copyright line runs from 2008 to 2026. For sellers it has one feature that sets it apart from a plain online printer: a RESTful API that lets a webshop forward its print orders automatically.

How ordering works

The home page reduces the process to a few promises. "Prijs wordt automatisch berekend," the price is calculated automatically, and you can "Bestel direct," order straight away. The company describes the flow in plain terms: you choose what you need, upload your file and it arranges the rest, "In eigen productie. Strak geprint. Snel geleverd." In its own production, sharply printed, quickly delivered. The range runs "Van één print tot duizenden stuks," from a single print to thousands of pieces.

Its four selling points are simple ordering with many options you pick yourself, sharp pricing ("Elke handeling is verbeterd voor een lage prijs," every step has been improved for a low price), fast delivery ("Wij produceren standaard binnen 24 uur," we produce within 24 hours as standard) and consistent quality from prints it produces itself. The footer adds an order form, order status tracking, a page for recurring customers and a volume discount page, and the delivery menu lists delivery methods, delivery times, an urgent service, pick-up at Print&Bind and pick-up points in Amsterdam.

Books and magazines

Books are the first product family. The catalog lists glued-spine books, Wire-O books, theses, manuals, photobooks, notebooks and calendars, and a "configure your own" option for anything else. The magazine family covers newspapers, liturgy booklets for church services, comic books, monthly magazines, program books, brochures and journals. That covers most of what a self-publisher, a school, a club or a small business needs to print in bound form, from a one-off photobook to a run of program books for an event. The information pages cover binding methods, paper sizes, paper types, panel materials and finishing, and the accessories list includes clear toner, finishing products and blank paper.

Everything else it prints

Around the bound products the catalog is broad, and every family again has a "configure your own" option:

  • Cards: folded cards, playing cards, postcards, thank-you cards, birthday cards, menus and name cards, plus business cards in 55x85 and 50x90 and a folded version.
  • Flyers in A7, A6, A5, A4 and Din Long, including sale and election flyers, and folded flyers in A6, A5, A4 and Din Long.
  • Loose pages: A4 prints, handouts, photos, coloring pages, placemats, punched prints and certificates.
  • Posters from A4 to A0, photo posters and roll-up banners.
  • Panels: Dibond, display cardboard, foamboard, Forex, channel plate, plexiglass and Re-board.
  • Stickers: square and round stickers, labels, name labels, address stickers, packing stickers and contour sticker sheets.
  • Accessories: photo frames, envelopes, packaging and mounting materials.

The stickers get particular attention in the company's recent news posts, which cover sticker materials, finishes and cuts, business uses and a feature on an illustrator's sticker designs.

Paper samples and file preparation

Print&Bind sends free paper samples. "Twijfel je over papier? Hoeft niet. Bestel onze papiermonsters en voel meteen wat werkt," the home page says: in doubt about paper, order the samples and feel at once what works. The pack lets you compare paper texture and weight, and color range, depth and sharpness, and the offer is "Gratis. Simpel geregeld," free and simply arranged.

For file preparation, the help section is organized into design tips (setting bleed and margins, contour lines, tips for Illustrator and InDesign), practical facts (paper sizes and types, panel materials, binding methods, finishes) and submission conditions (saving and submitting a PDF, merging PDFs, checking format and resolution, frames). One customer review on the home page describes the workflow in practice: when supplied images do not have the right resolution, the workflow stops and the customer is warned by SMS, and once the file is improved the workflow starts again.

The print API

The API is what makes Print&Bind relevant to sellers. Its English news post, dated 28 May 2025, opens with the problem it solves: "As an entrepreneur or maker, you want to spend your time on what you really find important: creating, designing, improving, selling. Not on manually uploading print files, keeping track of orders or printing and shipping each product separately." It asks whether you run "a webshop that sells posters, cards or other printed matter" and are looking for a partner to forward orders to automatically, and says the company offers solutions "for companies that need on-demand printing" with little to no manual intervention, whether for marketing material, personalized products or business materials.

The connection is "a versatile connection through a RESTFULL API," which the page calls "technically the most versatile," with RESTful API documentation linked from the post and "Order API" listed in the footer. "We can of course help you with the implementation," the post adds, and it gives bart@printenbind.nl as the contact.

Reputation

The site calls itself "Jouw Nr.1 Print service" and shows a Trustpilot score of 4.7 based on 9577 reviews. The reviews it displays praise quality, price and speed. One reads "Snelle levering, goede kwaliteit en lage prijs," fast delivery, good quality and a low price. Another customer describes a book whose layout was off because of a 15 mm margin she had not kept to; after speaking to customer service she was allowed to fix the file and have the book reprinted "met 40% korting," at 40% off. The same carousel also shows a long-standing customer complaining about recent delivery problems and not knowing how long orders would take, which is worth weighing if a deadline matters.

Who it suits

Print&Bind suits people and small businesses who want to order print online starting from a single print: students with a thesis, self-publishers with a paperback or photobook, clubs with a magazine or program book, and shops that need flyers, cards, stickers and signage from one supplier. For a seller with a webshop selling posters, cards or other printed products, the RESTful API and the offer of implementation help make it a candidate for automated on-demand fulfillment. The free paper samples take the guesswork out of choosing stock, and 24-hour standard production keeps turnaround short.
