Print Europe is a French printer of custom card games based in Mundolsheim, near Strasbourg in Alsace. It prints personalized card decks, tarot and oracle decks, educational and advertising games, game pieces and tokens, and the boxes and booklets that go with them, in what it calls "small and medium quantities". The English homepage says runs start "from 5 copies", while the French homepage says "à partir d'1 exemplaire" (from 1 copy). It is aimed at game creators, independent publishers and companies that want a branded deck, rather than at webshops looking for automatic dropshipping: the pages describe a printer that makes a short run of a custom game on order and ships it, not a store integration.

What a creator actually gets

The core product is the card game, customized at one of three levels. With back customization, a classic deck is printed with the buyer's own design on the back, "your company logo, a vacation photo of your feet in the sand, or a cute little cat drinking its milk", and Print Europe's team places the classic faces on the front. Free templates are available for bridge, poker, tarot and belote formats. The second level customizes both the front and back of a classic deck, and the homepage says a deck "can be reinvented endlessly at no extra cost", adding that going beyond the standard bridge and poker formats "won't necessarily be more expensive." The third level is a game designed from scratch, "Board game, aperitif game, educational game, role-playing game, Marseille tarot, divinatory oracles, and more", and the company states that "Whether all your cards are identical or all different, the price is the same."

Files are supplied as a PDF in the card format, with the back on page 1 and the faces on the following pages, and the company points creators to its DTP guide (guide PAO) for file preparation.

The product lines on the homepage cover:

  • Advertising games, including bridge and poker decks, pitched as "Your timeless communication tool"
  • Divinatory oracles and tarot of Marseille
  • Educational games, "Ideal for training your teams or for fun team building"
  • Seven families games, "The famous game to revisit endlessly"
  • Personalized tarot decks, to "Imagine from A to Z"
  • Personalized belote games, "32 cards to reinvent in your own image"

Beyond cards, the site lists special shapes cut to form ("Circles, clouds, stars, diamonds"), and game pieces and tokens printed or engraved on solid board, wood, metal, plastic and acrylic, with shape, dimensions, front and back "100% customisable". Packaging options in the menu include cases, semi-rigid bell boxes, rigid boxes and booklets or game boards, and there is a recycled paper option. Finishes include hot foil stamping, selective varnish, lamination, special inks, gold or silver printing, and 3D Braille for more inclusive games.

Production and lead times

Everything is made in-house. The English homepage says "We manufacture everything in our workshops in Mundolsheim, near Strasbourg, in Alsace. Our staff and machines are located on a 1,200 m² site." It lists the whole chain in one place: "From prepress, printing, laminating, cutting, finishing, and shipping, every step of the production chain is located in one place." The company says its products are all certified "Made in Alsace".

On speed, the homepage says having a large on-site machine park lets it control manufacturing lead times, and gives an example: "Need 5 decks of cards in a week? No problem." Manufacturing and delivery times for a specific order are shown in the quote calculator rather than on the homepage.

Pricing and quotes

Print Europe prices each project through an instant online quote calculator. The homepage explains: "Simply enter the specifications of your games, and the price will be displayed instantly, without any prior registration or login." The calculator also shows information about papers, finishes and packaging, and the manufacturing and delivery times. Options it mentions include format, finish, and gold or silver printing. Game pieces and tokens are quoted on request.

Two promotions are running on the English homepage: 20% off Braille until 31 August 2026, and 20% off rigid bell boxes until December 31, 2026. The footer links a request for samples, so a creator can see materials before ordering, and a "Become a partner" page.

Materials and sourcing

The company says its suppliers are French or geographically close, and that because it sits on the border with Germany, its papers and materials come from French or German suppliers. It states that "All the papers we use are FSC/PEFC certified, meaning they come from sustainably managed forests." It says its manufacturing processes are designed to optimize paper usage and limit waste, which is why it often suggests an unusual number of sets, "for example, 56, 108, or even 1,002 sets", and that unavoidable waste and scraps are sorted and recycled by a local company.

Support

The homepage puts weight on guidance for first-time creators: "For many of you, this is your first time printing custom decks." It says the team is available "In person, by email, or by phone" to "support, advise, and reassure you throughout every step of your project", and adds: "The emphasis (Alsatian, of course) is on advice and responsiveness." Phone hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, and the address is 13 rue Desaix, 67450 Mundolsheim. The site is available in French, English and German. The company presents its staff as specialists: "You'll be faced with experts, each in their own field, who will be able to point you in the right direction." A line on the homepage explains why it cares about print quality: "Quality is essential to us because it is the image your customers will have of you."

Who it suits and who it does not

Print Europe suits a game designer who wants a short run of a fully custom card game, a tarot or oracle creator printing a first edition, a trainer building an educational game, or a company that wants branded decks as gifts. The instant quote calculator lets a creator price a project without an account, and the same price for identical or all-different cards makes a fully illustrated deck no more expensive than a repeated design. Creators who care about where their game is made get production in one French workshop with FSC/PEFC papers.

It does not suit a seller who wants an online store to send single orders to a supplier automatically for dropshipping: the pages describe quoting and printing runs, with no store integration or per-order fulfillment to end customers.
