Printbling is a Dutch jewelry company with two lines of business: print-on-demand personalized jewelry that sellers can sell under their own shop, and wholesale keepsake supplies (settings, blanks and components) for makers of memorial jewelry. Its FAQ says it is located in the Netherlands and ships worldwide, and its product pages say each piece "is made by hand with the greatest care in our studio in Rotterdam." The homepage sums up the two needs it serves: "1) you can create and sell POD high-margin jewellery and 2) we supply wholesale premium jewellery blanks and settings to make keepsake jewellery." For a print-on-demand seller the offer is personalized necklaces, rings, bracelets, keychains and cufflinks, engraved with a name, a date, a fingerprint, a pawprint or a photo, made to order and shipped to the seller's customer.
What a seller actually gets
The print-on-demand catalog is organized in four collections (fingerprint, name, solid gold and men) and in categories for bracelets and beads, pendants, earrings, rings and keychains. The all-products page counts 25 necklaces, 11 rings, 4 bracelets, 5 accessories and 2 cufflinks. Named pieces include coin necklaces engraved with an initial, a date, a name, custom text, kisses, a pawprint or a fingerprint; an engraved birthflower pendant; a tree of life necklace; a family necklace of linked silver circles; nautical keychains; personalized photo keyrings; an engraved men's leather bracelet; leather fingerprint bracelets; birthstone rings in silver and 14k gold; a dainty initial ring; and several fingerprint rings, from a band to a 14k gold heart signet.
Getting started costs nothing. The FAQ says: "It is completely free to get started with Printbling. We don't have setup costs, minimums, or monthly fees." It also states there is no minimum order for personalized products, print-on-demand products or keepsake supplies, and that no business license is required. When a seller places an order, Printbling charges for manufacturing and shipping before it starts production. All prices are visible without registration, but placing an order requires an account.
Orders reach Printbling in one of two ways. A seller can add items to the cart and check out on the site, or upload orders in bulk by CSV file with customer details, product information and engraving texts. Store integrations are not available yet. The FAQ says "Printbling doesn't integrate yet with Shopify, Etsy, Big Cartel or Ecwid", and answers a question about Shopify or Etsy integration with "our next step is to develop these integrations." To collect engraving text, the FAQ suggests letting buyers enter it as an order note, or using a third-party app; for Shopify it names G-Variants and Variant Product Options.
Each product page carries downloadable product photos for the seller's website and social media. The FAQ adds a condition: sellers can use Printbling's pictures for its print-on-demand products, but need to buy a photo license product first. The amount is then deducted as a discount on later orders until the license cost is reached, and the seller must name the website page where the photos will appear, to avoid IP complaints. The resources menu also lists a photography service, a branding page and an order samples page.
Prices, materials and delivery
The product pages give the seller's cost per piece in euros, and the store can show them in AUD, CAD, GBP, HUF, RON and USD as well. Examples from the catalog:

The 14k cursive name necklace shows how variants work. It costs €123.93 without a chain in a jewelry pouch, €127.23 with a jewelry box, and €244.59 with a figaro chain. It is 14 carat solid gold on a 17" (42 cm) chain, 0.4 mm thick, and the name can be up to 12 characters long. The product page suggests retail prices from €279.95 without the chain and from €459.95 with it. The heart signet ring carries a 9 x 7 mm engraving and comes in ring sizes from 16 mm (50) to 19 mm (60).
On materials, the FAQ explains the metals Printbling works with: 925 sterling silver (92.5 percent silver), gold filled with 14 karat gold, and gold vermeil and gold plated finishes. It says the silver is deliberately not rhodium plated, so it can darken with wear. The fingerprint ring page says the company uses "materials that are ethically sourced" and that all jewelry "is also made in an environmentally friendly way"; the pages name no certification behind those claims.
The FAQ gives a general turnaround of 2 to 7 business days from ordering, longer around Christmas. The cursive name necklace page quotes production of 3 to 6 workdays and shipping of 3 to 7 days within Europe and 4 to 12 days to the rest of the world. Solid gold jewelry ships in a jewelry pouch inside a bubble mailer, and a jewelry box is an upgrade on several pieces.
Wholesale, custom work and returns
Beyond print-on-demand, Printbling sells keepsake supplies at wholesale: 14K, gold filled, vermeil, silver and stainless steel settings, engravable settings, bracelet cores, ring and pendant blanks, and resin and preservative. One example is a set of 14K gold bead inserts at €6.57 in 18K gold vermeil or €72.69 in solid 14K gold, with 3 to 15 working days of production. The homepage also offers a custom design service, and the FAQ says custom pieces "can be made but only in wholesale quantities", with prices, minimum quantity and timetable quoted per project.
Personalized pieces cannot be returned. If a production mistake happens, the FAQ says Printbling will "look for a suitable solution together", and asks for the order number and a photo of the product. Support runs through the contact page and by email. The site is available in English and Dutch.
Who it suits and who it does not
Printbling suits a seller of personalized and memorial jewelry, especially fingerprint, pawprint and name pieces, who wants handmade work in silver or solid gold rather than engraved steel, and who is happy to pay the higher unit cost that solid gold brings. It fits sellers with customers in the EU, since production is in Rotterdam. It also suits a keepsake jeweler who wants blanks and settings from the same supplier that can fulfill finished personalized pieces.
It fits less well for a seller who wants orders to flow from Shopify or Etsy on their own, since orders go through the site's checkout or a CSV upload for now.
