Pick & Print

Pick & Print is a Canadian printer of personalized products, based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, that runs two businesses side by side. Its main site is a consumer shop that turns customers' photos into gifts, with the promise "Printed in Canada", "High Quality Print" and "Canada-wide shipping". Its second business, Pick & Print Partner Fulfillment, is a white-label print-on-demand service for brands and online stores. The fulfillment page says Pick & Print can "print, personalize, pack and ship custom products directly to your customers across Canada, with white-label fulfillment options for Shopify, WooCommerce and other ecommerce platforms". The program is built for personalized goods, where every order carries a different photo, name or message, rather than for one design printed many times.

What Partner Fulfillment covers

The fulfillment page describes the service as being for businesses "that want to sell personalized and custom-printed products without producing every order themselves". Each order can contain a different customer photo, name, date, message, design or personalization request. Once the artwork is approved, Pick & Print produces the item, packages it and ships it either directly to the end customer or to the partner's preferred fulfillment location.

The page sets out the workflow in six steps. The customer orders in the partner's Shopify, WooCommerce or other store and submits personalization details. The partner reviews the photo, text and design, because "Customer-approved artwork should be considered final before production begins". The partner then sends the approved order to Pick & Print, which prints and personalizes it, packs and ships it with tracked delivery or in bulk to a warehouse or 3PL, and returns the tracking information to the partner's store.

That approval step shapes the whole arrangement: the partner, not Pick & Print, is responsible for checking customer personalization and getting final sign-off before an order is submitted.

Integrations: a pilot first, automation later

Pick & Print offers two levels of connection. New partners start with a simple order-transfer workflow during a pilot: a private partner order page, CSV order submission, a secure order form, artwork upload, manual order submission or approved personalization file transfer. The FAQ confirms that "New partners normally begin with a manual or private order-submission process before moving to a custom integration."

For established or higher-volume partners, custom Shopify and WooCommerce integrations "may be available". The listed options include automatic order transfer, product and SKU mapping, personalization data and artwork file transfer, production-ready artwork generation, production and fulfillment status updates, shipment tracking, order updates back to the store and gift note transfer.

Established partners can also add a White-Label Product Customizer to their Shopify or WooCommerce site. Customers add photos, names, dates, text and design elements, preview the product and approve it without leaving the partner's website, while the approved artwork goes to Pick & Print for production. A one-time White-Label Customizer Setup Fee applies for configuration, branding and integration, with possible extra fees for custom templates, advanced functionality, complex configurations, maintenance or further integrations.

Pilot, samples and pricing

New partnerships "normally begin with a small pilot", which tests product quality, artwork workflow, order submission, production time, packaging, shipping, tracking, personalization requirements, remake and damage rates and administrative workload. A typical pilot "may include approximately 10–25 production orders after a successful sample". Before launch, partners can request a complete personalized sample, priced by product and configuration.

On minimums, the FAQ says "Many personalized products can be produced one at a time", and the page stresses that "You do not need to order hundreds of identical products."

Partner pricing is quoted rather than published. Volume pricing is available for approved partners at approximately 10, 25, 50, 100 and 300+ orders per month, based on "actual completed monthly production volume rather than forecasted order volume", and higher-volume partners may qualify for custom contract pricing. Shipping, artwork services, premium packaging and optional upgrades may be priced separately.

For a sense of the product level, the consumer shop lists retail prices such as a Custom Photo Square Magnet 2.5" at $7.00, a Custom Photo T-Shirt from $25.00, a Personalized Colour-Changing Mug 11 oz at $21.00, a Custom Photo Hoodie from $40.00 and a Custom Keycap 108-Key PBT Keycap Set at $145.00. These are what a consumer pays, not partner costs.

Products

Availability for partners depends on inventory, suppliers and production capability. The fulfillment page lists personalized acrylic products, custom photo gifts, custom shirts and apparel, personalized mugs, tumblers, keychains, photo products, ornaments, custom bags, personalized home decor and promotional products, and says custom product sourcing can be discussed. The consumer shop shows the range in practice: photo T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies, ceramic, enamel, frosted glass and color-changing mugs, a 17 oz sublimation water bottle, pillow covers, rock slate plaques and clocks, LED frames, acrylic ornaments, iPhone cases, keychains, athletic socks, gaming mouse pads and drawstring backpacks.

Shipping, packaging and remakes

Pick & Print ships directly to customers across Canada with tracked services. Rates depend on destination, product size, weight, packaging, service and quantity, and shipping can be quoted separately. Partners can instead consolidate shipments to their own warehouse, a 3PL, a retail location or a distribution center.

Blind fulfillment can include neutral packaging, no Pick & Print marketing inserts, the partner's order number, a customer gift note, a partner-supplied branded insert and custom packing instructions, though carrier-required return information may still appear. Gift-ready and premium packaging are optional extras.

Production time depends on product, volume and capacity. Standard estimates are given before launch, and partners "should expect longer production windows during high-volume seasonal periods such as November and December". Transit time is separate.

Under the Damage and Remake Policy, Pick & Print reviews printing defects, its own production errors, manufacturing defects and shipping damage reported within the agreed period, and may ask for photos. Problems caused by customer-approved artwork, spelling, personalization, wrong addresses or partner order errors are generally not eligible for a free remake.

Artwork should arrive production-ready, in JPG, PNG, PDF or other approved formats. Significant preparation or redesign may cost extra, and optional design support can be discussed.

Who Pick & Print suits

The fulfillment page names its audience: Canadian ecommerce brands, personalized gift businesses, Shopify and WooCommerce merchants, corporate gifting companies, photographers, wedding and event businesses, promotional product sellers, small retailers and online creators. It fits best a Canadian store selling photo gifts or name products, where each order is different and domestic production matters.

It suits sellers who want a hands-off, instant-app setup less well. Onboarding runs through a sample, a pilot and a conversation about volume, and partner prices are quoted rather than listed.
