POD SHOP

POD SHOP (피오디샵) is a Korean print-on-demand platform run by WEBLING Inc (㈜위블링). It lets creators and brands sell merchandise from their own designs without stock: an item is made only when a customer orders it, and POD SHOP handles production, packing and delivery. The catalog runs to about 300 products, from key rings and phone cases to tumblers, and orders flow in automatically from the Korean store platforms Naver SmartStore, Cafe24 and Shopby or through an API. The site is entirely in Korean, prices are in won, and the offer is pitched at artists, character and fandom creators, side-business sellers, sports clubs and institutions.

How it works

The homepage headline is "최소 수량 없이, 1개부터 만들어 팝니다", which means no minimum quantity, with products made and sold from a single unit. The line under it spells out the model: you do not have to carry inventory, because production starts when an order comes in. The site's own tagline, "재고·초기 비용 없이 누구나 시작하는 굿즈 제작·브랜드 런칭", promises goods production and a brand launch that anyone can start without inventory or upfront cost. A second headline says the only thing a seller needs to prepare is one design, and that a merch shop can open the same day.

The seller picks products from the catalog, adds a design, and lists them in their own brand store. The homepage says that "300여 종" (about 300 kinds) of products are available, "키링부터 폰케이스, 텀블러까지" (from key rings to phone cases and tumblers), and that sellers can list as many as they like. One testimonial, from the fandom shop 삼묘상점 (Sammyo Sangjeom), says a product can be listed in 3 minutes, so designs fans ask for can be released immediately. A blog article on the seller resource page covers the top 8 made-to-order products of 2025 by category, and another walks through making and selling a 2026 calendar in five steps without design software.

Store integrations and API

POD SHOP's integration pitch is "쓰던 판매 채널 그대로, 주문만 자동으로": keep the sales channel you already use, and only the orders move automatically. The homepage says linking with SmartStore and Cafe24 automates ordering, production and delivery. The partner section names three platforms with setup guides, Naver SmartStore (스마트스토어), Cafe24 (카페24) and Shopby (샵바이), and the resource page offers an app to install for each.

Inside a connected store, POD products appear with the same UI as the seller's existing products, across display, product detail, cart and checkout. The seller uploads a design, the product is registered automatically, and POD SHOP takes care of production and shipping.

For sellers who do not use one of those platforms, the resource page links an API integration guide for connecting "앱 설치 없이" (without installing an app), with an overview of the POD SHOP API, a list of integration types, and separate backend and frontend integration guides.

Plans and pricing

The pricing section is headed "월정액 없이 팔린 만큼만 냅니다", no monthly fee, you pay only for what sells. The basic plan is described as completely free, and production cost is deducted only when an order comes in. Per-product base costs are not shown on the public site.

There are three plans:

  • Free (무료), ₩0. Aimed at new sellers. It includes unlimited product listings, connection to up to 3 sales channels, basic product mockup thumbnails, a free editor and mockup generation tool, and white-label packaging.
  • Seller Plus (셀러 플러스), listed at ₩29,000 per month but shown at ₩0 per month "(프로모션 중)", during a promotion. The page adds that it is provided free once a seller reaches annual sales of 10 million won (연매출 천만원). It includes everything in Free plus promotional supply prices, sample discount promotions, 24-hour customer support every day of the year, and free embroidery file conversion, which is marked "(예정)", planned, so it is not yet live.
  • Enterprise (기업), priced by agreement. For large brands, it adds tailored solutions, a dedicated account manager, trend analysis and industry insight, and the chance to tour the production facility.

White-label packaging on the free plan means a seller's customers do not receive POD SHOP-branded parcels, which matters for anyone building a brand of their own.

Who uses it

The homepage features six seller stories, each with a quote, and they show the range of customers POD SHOP is courting:

  • 김토끼 스튜디오 (Kim Tokki Studio), a character goods artist, says it was surprisingly easy to expand beyond its existing line into baby goods without risk.
  • 취준정병, a first-time goods maker who draws, says the biggest attraction is starting with 0 won of initial capital.
  • 삼묘상점, a fandom and character shop, praises the 3-minute listing.
  • 매직박, a dentist running a side business alongside a YouTube channel, says POD SHOP handles everything from packing to delivery.
  • NC다이노스 (NC Dinos), listed as a sports goods seller with a baseball IP, says baseball goods depend on memes and timing, and that POD SHOP let it turn fan reactions into products the moment they appeared.
  • 연세대학교 (Yonsei University) says low-commitment listing let it A/B test product lines against real market response and find its best-selling hero products.

Seller resources

The seller center (셀러 센터) collects blog posts, video guides and usage guides. Blog topics include starting a business with no capital, opening a goods shop from your own memes in a week, turning a social media side account into income, opening a goods shop without inventory from start to finish, a solo creator's goods store, trend goods strategy, 2026 business ideas and launching a brand on Naver SmartStore. Video guides include seller interviews and a SmartStore integration walkthrough covering registration, linking and payment confirmation. POD SHOP also offers a downloadable "POD 셀러 핵심 노트 2026" (POD seller key notes 2026) on monetization strategy, popular categories and pricing, a company introduction document, and a newsletter sent every two weeks with seller success stories, trend goods and platform updates.

Support runs by email and a customer center phone line listed in the footer, with round-the-clock support reserved for Seller Plus.

Who POD SHOP suits

POD SHOP fits Korean creators and brands that already sell, or plan to sell, on Naver SmartStore, Cafe24 or Shopby: artists and character studios, fandom shops, people running a goods line as a side business, sports clubs and schools. The free plan with no minimums, white-label packaging and unlimited listings makes it cheap to test designs. A seller running more than 3 stores will hit the free plan's channel limit, and the Seller Plus plan becomes free at a stated sales level.

It is a narrow fit outside that market. The site, guides and support are Korean-only, the named integrations are Korean platforms, and the public pages give no production times, shipping rates or print methods. Sellers who need those figures up front will have to sign up or ask through the inquiry form.
