Podzilla

Tap a star to rate

Podzilla, trading as Podzilla Prints, is a print-on-demand fulfillment company built for Etsy sellers. Its homepage says the founders "started as Etsy sellers and built Podzilla from the ground up for print-on-demand", after struggling with inconsistent prints, unclear shipping times and unanswered support tickets. It prints drinkware, apparel, porcelain ornaments and candles in its own facility, connects directly to Etsy shops, and pitches itself on quality control: every order passes several checkpoints before it ships, and the company publishes its reprint rate. Personalized products are the focus, and personalization is handled automatically at no extra charge.

What a seller gets

Podzilla describes its model as "Purpose-built for personalization-focused print-on-demand. No screen printing legacy. No contract work on the side." In practice a seller connects an Etsy shop, Podzilla maps the products, aligns SKUs and configures production settings, and "Most sellers are up and running in under 24 hours." From then on new orders sync from Etsy in real time, and the site says sellers can approve orders and move them to production "in seconds, not minutes", with personalization data, design files and shipping details already organized. Podzilla's custom-built order management system routes and batches the orders, which the company sums up as "Automation where it speeds things up. Human eyes where it counts." Then the production team prints and inspects each item, and the parcel ships via USPS with tracking uploaded to the shop automatically.

The Etsy connection goes further than order import. The integrations section lists "orders, receipts, transactions, listings, inventory sync, and shipping profiles", which the company contrasts with "a surface-level API connection".

Opening an account costs nothing. The site says "Free to start. No credit card required." and promises "no contracts, no minimums, no credit card required", adding that the free plan "includes everything you need to start selling".

Print methods

The site names four decoration methods, "Sublimation, DTG, DTF, embroidery", all run through the same QC-first workflow. Two are described in detail.

Sublimation is used for tumblers, glass cups, mugs, ornaments and candle jars. Podzilla says the designs are "permanently infused into the surface" and are scratch-resistant and "dishwasher-safe", printed on Epson industrial printers set up for consistency, so that "Your 500th tumbler looks exactly like your first."

Direct-to-garment (DTG) is used for T-shirts, hoodies and soft goods, with "Photo-quality detail on cotton and blends", "Consistent placement checked on every piece", and a pretreat, print and QC workflow. The site promises a soft hand feel with "no heavy vinyl, no cracking".

The catalog

Podzilla runs a separate production workflow for each product category, on the reasoning that "Tumblers don't print like t-shirts. Ornaments don't ship like hoodies." The catalog has four families:

  • Drinkware: 40oz tumblers, 20oz skinny tumblers, 16oz glass sipper cups and mugs, all with full-color sublimation wraps. The site calls this its "#1 category".
  • Apparel: a catalog "driven directly by our sellers", with styles and colors "from adult to infant sizes", every piece pretreated and placement-checked.
  • Ornaments: porcelain ornaments that each ship "in a gift-ready box", with print quality the company calls "consistent piece to piece, season to season".
  • Candles: hand-poured candles in fully sublimatable jars, which Podzilla says are "made in-house and not available from any other provider", with optional laser engraving on the lids.

The contact form also accepts custom product requests and high-volume inquiries.

Personalization

Personalization is the part of the service Podzilla stresses most. Its homepage says "Personalization is a 20-40% price premium on Etsy" and that it is "a nightmare to fulfill manually". Podzilla "generates print-ready personalized files automatically from your order data", and the feature is "Built in. Free. No per-design charges. No extra steps." For a shop selling names, dates and photos on tumblers or shirts, that removes the step of building a file for every order by hand.

Quality control and published figures

Every order goes through "multiple QC checkpoints", and items are "scanned and verified at each production stage, from print to pack". If an item is off, "it gets reprinted before it ever reaches a box." The homepage publishes the numbers it stands behind:

  • 500,000+ orders fulfilled
  • 1,000+ seller accounts on the platform
  • a 0.29% reprint rate in 2025, which the company sets against an industry average it gives as 2-5%
  • 1-3 business days average production turnaround, with most orders shipping in under 24 hours

These are Podzilla's own figures. The company says it has no investors and grows with the sellers who use it, and that the workflow is built to take a shop "from 50 orders a month to 5,000 without your process breaking."

Shipping

Orders ship via USPS. The fulfillment section says Podzilla offers "USPS Ground Advantage and Priority Mail upgrades", and tracking numbers sync back to the seller's shop automatically. The site gives no shipping rates or international options on its public pages. Its pricing and margin calculator is pitched around Etsy shipping, with the claim that "Etsy's algorithm now penalizes shipping over $6".

Integrations roadmap

Etsy is the only live integration. The roadmap on the homepage lists Shopify as "In Development" and API and webhook access as "Planned", for sellers who run several channels or their own brand store. The contact form includes an option for brands that do not sell on Etsy.

Seller resources and support

Podzilla offers free resources: a POD 101 guide for new sellers, production-ready file templates for every product category, the pricing and margin calculator, and a seasonal playbook with Q4 holiday cutoff dates. The contact form promises a reply "within 24 hours". Testimonials on the homepage focus on reviews. Melissa writes "My reviews are through the roof thanks to PODzilla!", and TeeAnna reports "nothing but 5-star reviews" since starting apparel with Podzilla.

Who Podzilla suits

Podzilla fits Etsy sellers whose shops run on personalized drinkware, apparel, ornaments or gifts, and who care most about consistent prints and protecting their review scores. The free personalization engine, the deep Etsy connection, the exclusive sublimation candles and the published QC figures all serve that seller. A new shop can start free with no minimums, and the company says the same workflow scales to thousands of orders a month.

The main limitation is channel reach. Until the Shopify integration and the API ship, Podzilla works only for Etsy shops, and the catalog centers on four product families.
