Printbest is a print-on-demand and dropshipping service that prints custom apparel, drinkware, specialty gifts and print products and ships them unbranded to its sellers' customers in the United States and Canada. The footer describes it as "a print on demand company powered by SinaLite", and the About page explains the relationship: before Printbest existed, SinaLite was "a small family-run brick and mortar print shop founded in 1999" that later provided fulfillment and dropshipping to print companies needing items such as T-shirts, labels and drinkware they could not make themselves. Printbest was introduced in 2020 to offer the same production directly to "entrepreneurs, artists, and small business owners". The About page says the company serves creators "in the United States and Canada", and the homepage promises dropshipping "to anywhere in the United States and Canada, all in just a few days."
What a seller gets
The model is the standard one, and the site states each step. The seller designs products and sets their own retail prices. "When a Printbest item listed in your store sells, we are automatically notified." Printbest then prints the item "with your design, charging you the production and shipping costs," and dropships the order "straight to your client under your store's brand", with the homepage adding "without any Printbest branding." The seller keeps the difference between their price and what Printbest charges. The site shows no subscription or membership fee; its pages describe payment only in terms of those production and shipping costs.
Orders come in through store integrations. The site's integration menu lists Shopify, Etsy and WooCommerce, the Drop Shipping page says the service makes it "easy for you to sell custom products on Shopify, WooCommerce, or Etsy", and the company blog says "Printbest presently interfaces with Etsy, WooCommerce, and Shopify print on demand stores, with further integrations on the way."
The catalog
The catalog is organized into six families, and the navigation names every product line in them:
- Men's clothing: T-shirts, hoodies, tank tops, long sleeve shirts and sweatshirts.
- Women's clothing: T-shirts, tank tops and long sleeve shirts.
- Kids' clothing: T-shirts, hoodies, long sleeve shirts and sweatshirts, which the kids page describes as "youth and children's clothing".
- Drinkware: mugs, bottles and tumblers.
- Specialty: puzzles, keychains, coasters, mousepads and photo panels.
- Print products: yard signs and stretched canvas prints.
That last family reflects the SinaLite background as a general print shop that made labels and other print products for the trade. The site gives two different figures for the size of the range. The homepage says "We offer over 71 types of products in a huge range of colours and sizes", while the About page and the homepage banner both say "over 100 types" of products. Either way the named lines above are what a seller can build a store from.
Print method
The apparel is printed direct-to-garment. The homepage says "Our top quality printing comes from using technology and inks developed by Kornit, the industry-leading brand in DTG printing," and one client review on the site praises "the quality of direct to garment finished product." The Drop Shipping and Canada pages add a sustainability line in the company's own words: "We use Kornit technology, which uses 95% less water and 50-60% less energy."
Speed and where it prints
Speed is the claim Printbest leads with. The homepage says "We print and pack all orders in as fast as 1-2 business days, and provide you with a variety of fast, affordable shipping options." Its product tiles on the homepage are more specific: only some carry "1-2 day printing available", so the faster figure is a best case rather than a rule for every item. On delivery, the About page says the company has "kept reducing our fulfillment times, so that customers can now receive their orders in less than 5 business days on average."
On location, the Drop Shipping page says "Our printing is done 100% right here in North America." The Canada page, aimed at Canadian store owners, goes further: "Our printing is done 100% right at home in Canada," under the heading "Proudly Canadian print on demand services."
Pricing
The site publishes no base-cost table, but it does make a concrete pricing claim. The homepage says "Our prices are on average 20% lower on printed apparel, or about $5 lower per shirt. That extra money goes into your pocket as profit." The Drop Shipping and Canada pages phrase it as "20% lower than other print on demand suppliers." Those are the company's own comparisons against an unnamed field, not per-item prices, so actual base costs for each shirt, mug or canvas are something a seller sees after signing up.
Track record
The About page gives three figures under "Our current progress": "23 years of printing", "380K orders in 2021" and "16.5K customers in 2021". The story section says the company has "always maintained high standards of quality and speed, because these are the things that keep customers coming back."
The site shows three client reviews, each with five stars. One says "Orders are processed quickly and clearly. My customers are also happy with their items. Highly recommend." Another reads "Great product selection and turnaround time. Happy with the quality of direct to garment finished product as well." The third calls it an "Amazing service for small businesses!" and says the print-on-demand option "allows me to get merch to my customers without having to take preorders and buy in bulk!"
Who it suits
Printbest fits a seller whose customers are in the United States and Canada and who wants fast printing on everyday apparel. A Canadian shop owner gets a supplier that states it prints at home in Canada. An artist selling on Etsy or a small business with a Shopify or WooCommerce store can connect directly, list shirts, hoodies and mugs, and let Printbest print and ship unbranded. The yard signs, canvas prints, puzzles and photo panels also give a local business or photographer a few products beyond the usual T-shirt.
The limits follow from the same facts. The site describes shipping to the United States and Canada only, so a store with customers further afield needs another supplier for those orders. Base costs are not public before signup, beyond the "about $5 lower per shirt" claim. And the "1-2 days" headline is an "as fast as" figure that the homepage tiles attach to some products, not all.
