Printonic is a print-on-demand company built around gifts: it prints personalized products, assembles them into boxed gift sets, and ships them from the US under the seller's brand. It calls itself "the gift-on-demand platform behind ambitious Etsy and Shopify stores, with TikTok Shop coming very soon," and its FAQ describes "US fulfillment from our US-based facility." The homepage promise is short: "We print, pack, and ship it from the US in 2-4 business days." Printonic serves two audiences, online sellers on Etsy and Shopify, and companies sending client and employee gifts through its corporate program, Printonic for Teams.

What a seller gets

A gift-first catalog

The homepage invites sellers to "Browse all 82 products" and sums up the range as candles, drinkware, ornaments, apparel, keepsakes and ready-made gift sets. The listed items show how far that goes beyond T-shirts, each with a "From" price: a ceramic jewelry dish from $4.99, a folding mirror from $4.95, a clear cosmetic bag from $7.99, a bio-washed cotton visor from $8.99, a holographic fanny pack and a 12 oz insulated wine tumbler from $9.99, a ruffled apron from $10.99, a teddy bear with custom T-shirt from $11.99, a satin bridal robe from $12, a luxury 14oz candle with engraved bamboo lid from $12.50 and a faux leather notebook from $13.99.

The gift sets are named for occasions. The Bride Tribe Gift Box starts at $13.75, the Bridesmaid Proposal Gift Set at $17.99, a Mother's Day set named Best Mom Ever at $12.99, graduation sets such as Grad Mode and Tassle Time at $15.99, the Mug Duo Gift Set at $9.99, the Blush & Bloom Gift Set at $24.99 and the Holiday Baking Gift Set at $29.99. The footer organizes them into gift shops for weddings, corporate gifts, Mother's Day, holidays, birthdays, graduation and Valentine's Day. Apparel is available too: the gift sets page offers "premium apparel including t-shirts, hoodies, tanks, and more."

Printing methods

The gift sets page names two methods: DTG printing, "Direct-to-garment printing for photo-quality results" with "Full-color designs", a "Soft feel" and "No minimum orders", and DTF printing, direct-to-film with "Bright colors" that is "Long-lasting" and "Works on any fabric". The luxury candle carries an "Engraved Bamboo Lid", and the footer links a Printing Methods page.

Building a gift set

The gift box page describes a builder with "Drag & Drop" mixing of "Candles, mugs, drinkware, accessories, greeting cards", a "Live Preview" to "Adjust layouts, packaging options, and branding elements in real-time", "Smart Pricing" that "shows you base cost per box so you always know your profit before publishing", and "One-Click Publishing" to Shopify or Etsy with "Product photos, descriptions, and variant options" auto-generated. The FAQ on the gift sets page is more restrictive: gift boxes are pre-assembled sets, so the seller should "Pick a theme and choose from ready‑made set SKUs; you can customize artwork for the items inside." Either way, "Each component (e.g., mug, candle, card) can have its own design within the same set," and sets "inherit variations from their components (e.g., color, size, scent)."

Buyers can personalize at checkout: listings "publish with personalization built in. Buyers add names, photos, and fonts right on the page," and the print file is prepared with "no seller action needed". Every product comes with "print files prepped and photoreal mockups rendered" from the company's 3D studio.

Packaging and branding

The gift box page describes four layers: a "Gift Box" in "Professional gift-ready packaging", "Protective Wrapping" in which "Each item is carefully wrapped", the chosen products arranged together, and a "Personal Touch" through an "Optional greeting card add-on ($1.50)". The gift sets page adds "optional custom branding stickers available through your dashboard", "cohesive label designs and custom packing slips". Orders "ship as if from your store", with the seller's store name on the packing slip and return address, and "No supplier pricing is included in the box."

How orders flow

The homepage lays out four steps it calls plates: connect Etsy or Shopify and "import listings you already sell"; design once in the studio; let buyers order with personalization; and "We print, pack, and ship from the US in 2-4 business days under your brand." The integrations "sync listings, orders, and tracking both ways. No CSV gymnastics." TikTok Shop is marked "Coming very soon".

For corporate gifting, the integration list names HubSpot Gifting, Salesforce Gifting, BambooHR Gifting, Slack Gifting and Gusto Gifting, and the corporate menu covers employee appreciation gifts, welcome kits, client gifts, events and exhibitions, sample kits and team orders, with "no minimum order". There is also an API reference and a hosted MCP server: "Connect Claude or any MCP client and let it search the catalog, draft listings, and check orders." The homepage demo shows "19 tools available". Beyond selling, the site offers an "Order direct" option for buyers ordering for themselves, a Printonic Pro page linked from the footer, an affiliate program, order tracking and a published quality guarantee page.

Pricing

Printonic is "Free to join. No monthly fee. You pay only when you sell." The gift box page lists "$0 To Start", "1 Min. Order" and "2-3x Retail Markup", and the gift sets page mentions a "30-day money-back guarantee". The homepage calculator, for a gift set sold at $50, shows "Base + shipping" of $17.98, a profit of $32.02 per order and, at 80 orders a month, a "Monthly profit" of $2,561.60 with a 64% margin; it notes that "Shipping varies by product, size, and destination." A second calculator on the gift sets page uses 2 sets a day at a $22 profit per set for a monthly profit of $1,320 and an annual profit of $16,060. On pricing, the FAQ reports that "many merchants price 40–75% above individual items while still showing savings vs buying separately."

Who it suits

Printonic fits a seller who builds around occasions: bridal parties, Mother's Day, graduations, holidays. The published "From" prices let that seller plan margins before signing up, and the boxed presentation, branded packing slips and buyer personalization serve the gift buyer directly. HR and marketing teams get a separate corporate path with gifting-platform integrations.

The caveats are scope and channel. Shipping is described as US fulfillment, the storefront integrations today are Etsy and Shopify, and a seller wanting a free-form bundle should check how far the builder goes, since one page speaks of mixing any product and the FAQ of ready-made set SKUs.
