Tunetoo is a French company that personalizes clothing and objects and runs a print-on-demand and dropshipping service for online stores out of its own workshop in France. Its home page says the business launched in 2013 "avec la volonté de devenir une marque recentrée sur l'humain" (with the aim of becoming a brand centered on people), and that every print and embroidery is produced in France so the team can follow quality closely. The Spanish site places the personalization in the Bordeaux area. The seller offer is aimed at store owners who want to sell custom apparel and gifts without buying stock, and at designers who would rather sell through Tunetoo's own marketplace.
What a seller gets
The core of the service is a connection between a seller's store and Tunetoo's production floor. The print-on-demand page describes the flow in five steps: link your store for free through Shopify, WooCommerce or the Tunetoo API; build products with your designs in the "Product Creator" and its 700 references; sell on your own store, where the customer pays you directly; the orders arrive at Tunetoo and you pay to start production; and the parcel goes out white-label, with tracking, "sous 3 à 5 jours ouvrés depuis notre atelier français" (within 3 to 5 working days from our French workshop).
The API is the route for everything that is not Shopify or WooCommerce. The company says it built it so that any business can connect to its production system, adds that you will need a developer to do it, and notes that selling print-on-demand through Amazon is also possible that way.
The pricing model is simple and stated plainly. The page says the offer comes with no subscription and no additional fees: you are billed only for each product sold and personalized in the workshop, plus shipping. The listed advantages are no subscription, no stock to manage, no shipping to handle, worldwide shipping and no cash tied up in advance. Tunetoo also lists the drawbacks in its own words: unit prices are higher than on a large run printed in one go, and there are fewer options to customize the parcel.
Catalog and print methods
The catalog is broad. The home page speaks of more than 450 references to personalize, while the print-on-demand page puts the Product Creator at 700 references and claims close to 700 products overall. The menus run from t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, shirts, coats, trousers, shorts, aprons and bathrobes to workwear for building sites, medical wear and kitchen and hospitality uniforms. Baby items include bibs, bodysuits, plush toys and comforters. Accessories cover caps, beanies, bucket hats, masks, bandanas, scarves, bags, towels and throws, and the objects range covers mugs, bowls, tankards, cushions, phone cases, mouse pads, canvases, clocks, puzzles, chairs, keyrings, bookmarks and Christmas baubles.
On the textile side, Tunetoo says it is an official distributor of Stanley Stella, whose organic range is available in print-on-demand, and that it works with established European textile suppliers to carry brands such as Awdis, B&C, Kariban, Fruit of the Loom, Gildan, Premier, Larkwood, Beechfield, Yupoong by Flexfit and BagBase.
The decoration methods named on the site are embroidery, digital printing (DTG), flex, flock, special flex and sublimation. The print-on-demand page explains when each fits: DTG for cotton textiles, flex for polyester or products whose size or shape is outside what DTG can take, and sublimation for objects and all-over textiles such as canvases and cushions. In the personalization tool, each element you add (your own image, text, or a motif from the Tunetoo image bank) gets its own marking technique, so a single product can combine methods. The company says it uses latest-generation printers of the kind used by major ready-to-wear brands.
Prices on the page
Tunetoo does not print a full price list on its public print-on-demand page. It asks sellers to link their site to reach the Product Creator and browse the catalog with prices. What it does publish is the surcharge for each marking, added to the price of the blank product, which the catalog quotes excluding VAT:
- Digital (DTG) at 3.33 euros excluding VAT
- Flex at 4.17 euros excluding VAT
- Sublimation at 3.33 euros excluding VAT
- Embroidery, up to 10 x 10 cm, at 5.83 euros excluding VAT
A downloadable shipping rate grid is linked from the same section, and the shipping section offers delivery times and rates by market for France, Europe and the rest of the world.
Production, shipping and packaging
All orders are processed in-house in the French workshop, which the company presents as how it controls both quality and lead times. The headline production time on the page is 3 to 5 working days. For delivery, Tunetoo works with La Poste and says it offers worldwide shipping at its best rates while keeping priority delivery times.
White-label handling is spelled out in detail. Every order ships with a delivery note that carries no price, in neutral packaging with only a shipping label bearing the recipient's name. No email goes to the end customer; tracking numbers are made available to the seller instead. The page also admits that parcel customization options are standardized.
Print-on-demand orders carry no minimum. For larger runs, the site runs a separate quote form for screen printing and embroidery in series, where the minimum is a total of 20 pieces across products such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, aprons, polos, shirts, caps, beanies, phone cases, bags, mugs and jackets.
Selling on Tunetoo itself
Besides the store connection, Tunetoo runs four ways to sell directly on its own platform: creating a campaign, putting designs online in the artshop on its website, opening an e-shop, or connecting a shop through the API. The home page invites people to join the Tunetoo community, sell motifs, open a shop and create campaigns on Tunetoo for free. The company describes this as a project close to its heart, helping French and foreign artists and designers gain recognition and be rewarded for their talent. The site shows marketplace sections of designer items personalized on demand, grouped by themes such as humor, vintage, family and sport.
Support
Customer service is available Monday to Friday, 9h-12h and 14h-17h. The print-on-demand page also offers a booked call with one of its phone advisers, a contact form where prospective API users can say which platform they sell on and what they want to know about products, delivery times, prices or order validation, and an on-site chat assistant. The site is available in French, English, Spanish and German.
Who it suits
Tunetoo suits a seller on Shopify or WooCommerce who wants French-made custom apparel and gifts with white-label shipping and no subscription, and who values a stated 3 to 5 working day production time. The Stanley Stella organic range and the list of well-known blank brands help a brand that cares about the garment underneath the print. Designers who prefer not to run a store of their own can use the artshop, campaigns or a hosted e-shop instead, and developers can connect other platforms, Amazon included, through the API.
The caveats are the ones the company names itself: unit prices sit above bulk screen printing, and parcels cannot be customized beyond the neutral standard. Blank product prices sit behind the store connection, so a seller has to link a store before running the numbers on a full product line.
