CLICK is an online framing company in Bogotá, Colombia, that prints, frames and delivers pictures to customers' homes, and it runs an invitation-only print-on-demand marketplace for artists called CLICKpod. Photographers and illustrators who are accepted upload their work, set their own prices, and earn a commission each time someone buys a print; CLICK prints each piece only after it sells, frames it and ships it. The artist program page introduces it as "CLICKPOD es nuestra nueva plataforma para artistas" (CLICKPOD is our new platform for artists), with the promise "Tu arte. Tu colección. Tus ventas." (Your art. Your collection. Your sales.)
What an artist gets
The CLICKpod page opens with the pitch: "Vende tus fotografías e ilustraciones en CLICK y llega a nuevas audiencias sin preocuparte por producción, inventarios o envíos" (Sell your photographs and illustrations on CLICK and reach new audiences without worrying about production, inventory or shipping). It then gives five reasons to join.
New audiences. Your collection becomes part of CLICK's shop, "donde nuevos clientes podrán descubrirla y llevarla a sus espacios" (where new customers can discover it and take it into their spaces).
Print on demand. "Trabajamos bajo demanda (print on demand): imprimimos cada Art Print únicamente cuando alguien lo compra" (we work on demand: we print each Art Print only when someone buys it). The page adds that you do not have to print, keep stock or ship your work.
Earnings per sale. "Tú defines el precio de tus Art Prints y recibes una comisión cada vez que alguien compra un print de tu colección" (You set the price of your Art Prints and receive a commission each time someone buys a print from your collection). CLICK handles printing, framing and shipping. A footnote sets one condition: "Tenemos un precio mínimo establecido para cubrir costos, impuestos y comisiones" (We have a set minimum price to cover costs, taxes and commissions).
International shipping. "Hacemos envíos internacionales. Tus Art Prints pueden llegar a clientes en Colombia, México, Estados Unidos, Canadá y España" (We ship internationally. Your Art Prints can reach customers in Colombia, Mexico, the United States, Canada and Spain).
Quality. "En CLICK somos obsesivos con el diseño y la calidad. Utilizamos papeles, tintas y marcos de primera" (At CLICK we are obsessive about design and quality. We use first-rate papers, inks and frames).
How joining works
CLICKpod is invitation-based, and the page sets out four steps.
- Get to know each other. Send a link to your website, social media or anywhere your work can be seen, and review the gallery's minimum requirements, which the page links to.
- Receive your invitation. If your work is selected, CLICK gives you a code to join CLICKpod, which you use to create your account.
- Build your collection. Create your profile, upload your images and decide which ones to put on sale. CLICK turns them into Art Prints.
- Earn on every sale. When someone buys a piece, CLICK produces it, frames it and ships it, and you receive a commission on each print sold.
The page is direct about selection: "CLICKpod es una plataforma curada y no todas la solicitudes pueden ser publicadas" (CLICKpod is a selective platform and not every application can be published). It invites applicants to read the guidelines and minimum requirements first and provides a contact form with name, email, phone and message fields. The community goal, in the company's words, is "una comunidad creativa, talentosa y diversa" (a creative, talented and diverse community) of emerging artists with "propuestas frescas, atractivas y llenas de personalidad" (fresh, attractive proposals full of personality).
Authentication and presentation
Each print carries a mark of origin. The CLICKpod page says: "Cada Art Print lleva un sello seco que identifica la pieza ha sido vendida en CLICK y garantiza que ha sido producido con tu autorización" (Each Art Print carries a dry seal that identifies the piece as sold on CLICK and guarantees it was produced with your authorization). For an artist, that is a small but real protection: buyers can tell an authorized print from a copy.
What the prints look like in the shop
The Art Prints already on CLICK are grouped as Ilustración (illustration) and Fotografía (photography). The shop describes the collection as "una selección curada de ilustración y fotografía de artistas emergentes colombianos" (a hand-picked selection of illustration and photography by emerging Colombian artists), under the heading "Prints hechos en Colombia" (prints made in Colombia).
The featured pieces show how listings are set up. "Caramelo" by Tiny Little Horse lists a print size of 30x42.8 on a 35x47.8 paper. "Frailejón" by MP Fuquen PH is 30x45 on 35x50, "Gatete Espía" by The Other Hu is 30x42.4 on 35x47.4, and "Riverside at San Antonio" by Caceres Insight is 30x40 on 35x45. Each of these is priced "Desde $280,000" (from $280,000) in Colombian pesos, and "Cartagena de Hierro" by Stubbs Photo is listed at $280,000. The store shows prices in COP, including for the Canada, Spain and United States settings of its currency selector.
The framing behind it
CLICK's main business, and the production side of CLICKpod, is framing. The homepage headline reads "En CLICK imprimimos, enmarcamos y te enviamos a domicilio" (At CLICK we print, frame and deliver to your home). Its materials section lists: "marcos en madera o plástico, impresión de calidad, paspartú libre de ácido, espaldar en foam board y acrílico 100% transparente con filtro UV" (wood or plastic frames, quality printing, acid-free mat, foam board backing, and 100% clear acrylic with UV filter).
Retail customers can frame their own digital photos from a phone, computer or social media; frame "Algo que ya tienes" (something you already have, such as photos, posters or diplomas); or order Photo Walls, which create several frames of the same size in one step. The homepage says it ships "a todo Colombia" (to all of Colombia) and gives three headline figures: "15,000+ Cuadros enmarcados" (framed pictures), "4 - 8 días Para enviar tu pedido" (4 to 8 days to ship your order) and "100% online."
Customer reviews and support
The homepage shows customer reviews rated 5 / 5. One buyer, L.M Álvarez Manrique, wrote that an order of 6 frames arrived on time and "super cuidadosos en el empaque" (very careful with the packaging). A. Ruíz Barón wrote that shipping was fast and "los materiales muy buenos, se nota la calidad" (the materials are very good, you can see the quality). One review, from J. Chacón, mentions "Un pequeño detalle en el acrílico que no se nota después de armado" (a small detail in the acrylic that is not noticeable once assembled).
For support, the footer lists Preguntas Frecuentes (FAQ) and Asesoría (advice), a contact link, Instagram, and an address at Calle 67 #19-61, Bogotá 110221. The site runs on Shopify, a banner offers 10% off a first purchase, and a newsletter called "Buenas Nuevas" shares new artists, collections and promotions.
Who it suits
CLICKpod suits photographers and illustrators, especially emerging Colombian artists, who want their work sold as framed prints without handling printing, framing or shipping. The artist sets the price above CLICK's minimum and earns a commission on each sale, and the dry seal marks every print as authorized. International shipping to Mexico, the United States, Canada and Spain widens the audience beyond Colombia.
The caveats are that entry is by selection and that the CLICKpod page does not state the commission rate or the minimum price.
